Hey Mr. Ferguson hope you are well too and Kenny get the healing going now!!
Darrel we will see you at the OCF, Tell Spud hey now as we need to blow straight up to Venita to Suttle RD. Ask Spud how his back is and report when you get there. Be ready for a BIG chnge if your last fair was like in the 70's. It will blow your mind!.

Nails.... you can only prepair as well as you can prepair. I too think it will be a HUGE issue for those who are in Major metros first then spread out to the Country. I also do not see the air travel being an easy thing!! I totally expect to be on Molokai' (Population of ENTIRE Island appx 7000 (ONLY 7 THOUSAND) on entire Island and very country!! Hopefully having our H2o in order our off grid power cranking and our land producing ( and fyi there are at least 20000 DEER on the Island and many pigs, Goats, Doves , phesants. turkeys too,,,,, and even cattle AND FISH galore, along with our compost beds and maybe even methane to use as a fuel for the motors we need ( I saw Gaston doing just that on "The Farm Commune " way back in the day, we will be as ready as we can be. AND there is no way that the masses can get to us there!! God blessed us many years ago when we were deeded the place!! BUT I do not want Kenny to be discouraged and I wish him well and much success!!

    Peace and
    LOVE LOVE LOVE

happy 4th of July to all of you.. I've been reading this thread over several months, & am fascinated by your stories. It's just brilliant that so many of the brothers & sisters have come out of the woodwork, & found each other again.. wishing Kenny a speedy recovery..

Molokai's a beautifull place. Stopped off there once when I was sailing over to Oahu with some other freaks from Maui to see J. Hendrix play the Shell at the zoo and was enchanted with the place. Wish I had bought land there or on the Big Island when I lived over in paradise--however Life rolls on as it's supposed to in its proper time and in its proper place,so----here I am. Properly.

Back in the '50s before they pierced the Pali if you stopped at Lookout Point and looked just past the golf course on the edge of the jungle at the foot of the Pali there was a small cluster of maybe twenty houses and ours was the one at the edge of the jungle and for a twelve year old ...... Paradise!

I had an interesting situation just after crossing the Pali. A friend and I were in his '59 Cad convertible and just after we got off the Pali in Kailua---the tie rod broke!! That was a close one.

Sounds like paradise for a kid, indeed. Was Buzz's Steak House going then on the dead end past the beach park in Kailua?

Quick note from Mary Jo to say that Ken is home and doing well! He's very sore and will have a long recovery, abdominally speaking, but all is well. Thank you all for thinking of him! xo
