The link that I found in northern Arizona, with the 2,200 acres asking 8 mill., would amount to 3,636.36 dollars per acre. Which I think is expensive and I would offer a lower bid for that piece of property.

My big unknown is how much is beef cattle per head?

 

calves run about 300/400, cow about 800. bull 1,000 or so grown, cheaper by the dozen tho'

 

we could start with 20 head and a bull, that will double in a yr, if we have that long. There would have to be ponds for them and pasture to munch. 1 acre per cow. We would have to have a tractor and a hay baler, so we would have to have fuel to run it on.

We would need a couple of donkeys too to keep the predators away.

So, I'm thinking with fair sized partners on a coop type of thing ($500k each), We want to launch right out of the gate, with enough beef for a full Food for all, (us, ranch hands and hires, the partners, and more), for each year. Plus, the core heard for heard growth.

You see what I'm saying? Like, say 50 people eat 365 days per year. Self sustaining. Figure out the FOOD heard. Then figure out the breeding heard. This is prepping for today and later on.

2,200 acres could do 2000 head. One guy's buy-in could get 500 head of bulls. More if a big mix of calf and cow. Like maybe 800 to 1200 head.

We'd have to figure out how much for food per year. One head every other day would be 365 days divided by 2 for 183 head in a year. Then figure out how many people.

Then maybe 400 or so mixed head in a heard for yearly growth. That kind of thing.

Just a rough thought.

Yes Roamy, and I have to go on a liquid fast at dawn tomorrow, (Monday morn). Clear or light colored liquids only and then nothing after 6 p.m. and be at the Hospital at 6:30 a.m. Tues, July 2nd.

Post Surgery a feeding tube up my nose. 4 days in the hospital post surgery to monitor and guard against infections.

Then I'm going to eat 183 head of cattle.

Thanks, roamy. Before I close my eyes, I will be imagining seeing each of you guys all together in the future and hugging and hanging with you all.

Ranger and Rita will be first because I totally owe them a visit by now, and if Sag. drives to their place, that makes in mandatory for me to go there and to see all three.

Maybe you yourself next year. I'll see Mary when we all get rich. Or get that Ranch and they pay her to fly in. And see everybody else in time.

That's my thought.

What I'm saying is that If Sag. gets his old car fixed and moves to where Rita and Ranger live (1,000 miles drive), then there are the three of them to visit. Sag. doesn't need to give me a lift. I have a vehicle to get to where they are. It's just that visiting 3 is even better then visiting 2. That's all that I'm saying.

By next Summer if you are coming over here, then I should save up and get Mary an Airline round trip for $350 or whatever, also. That's my thinking on that.

HMM so the Wall Street Wealthy will subsidize this because they are going to come to Flagstaff to be waited on and cared for by others who they "HIRED" with their original 500k investment into this co-op on the front end? HMM I think that is a DREAM and as I recall a long time ago back on Roamys side of the pond this was called indentured servitude. BUT there is no harm in you trying to make this happen. Go for it as it will be something quite amazing. I wish you well in this and I wish you extreamly well with your upcomming medical procedure. Heal fast and make your Dream a reality. Please include a Ham Radio so that we can talk about it from where ever all end up as other ways to communicat will be either hampered or not the way you will want to keep in touch.

As for the Casino I hope the tribe associated with it has not forgotten their original way to survive as it may be that that saves them not Pi Gau or one armed bandits!
