mary is definitely not a racist.

If anybody around here is a racist, it's me. I'm a total racist. I totally hate hate hate any type of competition that involves jogging, sprinting, speed walking, or anything else that gets people up off of the couch.

 

Wait. Maybe I have that backwards. Maybe a racist is somebody who is totally into racing.

I mean if a botanist is somebody who is into botany and a physicist is somebody who is into physics. Yeah. I might have it all wrong. Maybe I'm not a racist. I've got it backwards.

But I still hate those 3 Mexican illegals who ripped my drugs off at gun point and knife point and tried to end my life that one night in Redlands, back in '72.

What about the doc you got the second opinion from?

I didn't get a second doc and a second opinion. I canceled the operation because the doctor's scheduling person told us on the phone that she had cleared the surgery and everything with my insurance payer, for the whole hospital thing. Because we already knew that she was a screw up, we called the insurer, and this lady said we were automatically okayed for walk-in surgeries. and the surgical room would be covered.

I said, but this isn't a walk in surgery. I have to stay in the hospital for four days. She said that's not authorized. We don't have a request for that.

I got so piss at the scheduling women. (You only have one thing to do for a job. And you can't do that right. LOL) That I called and canceled the Doctor and the Hospital.

I will look for another sturgeon, now. LOL

That's exactly the point it became clear we weren't dealing with an adult.....

 

So, let's just to put this to rest. I don't need their permission to state my opinion in any forum on any subject and be free to do so without being called a bunch of fucked up shit, which btw, is a banable offence.

I do appreciate all of you who did come to my side and stand with me. We are survivors, we live by our instinct. What feels right and what feels wrong. We know the difference between the two.

The Light will reveal all that hides in the shadows. I believe what I see with my own eyes, what I feel in my heart about it.

I have my issues just like everyone else. I have my passions when they affect my life, my family and my home. I think most ppl are like that. I am not unique in my views.

I am not an anarchist, but I will not be so obliged as to lay down and let anyone take what I have worked to create with my blood sweat and tears.

I believe the constitution has been a great instrument in the past and will continue to be in our future and should be kept in tact. It is for all US citizens no matter what nationality you are. It also protects us as a church. We need to keep it around.

A Kansas farm wife called the local phone company to report her telephone failed to ring when her friends called - and that on the few occasions, when it did ring, her dog always moaned right before the phone rang.

The telephone repairman proceeded to the scene, curious to see this psychic dog or senile lady. He climbed a telephone pole, hooked in his test set, and dialed the subscriber's house.

The phone didn't ring right away, but then the dog moaned and the telephone began to ring.

Climbing down from the pole, the telephone repairman found:

1 . The dog was tied to the telephone system's ground wire with a steel chain and collar.

2. The wire connection to the ground rod was loose.

3. The dog was receiving 90 volts of signaling current when the number was called.

4.. After a couple of jolts, the dog would start moaning and then urinate.

5. The wet ground would complete the circuit, thus causing the phone to ring.

Which demonstrates that some problems CAN be fixed by

pissing and moaning.

Thought you'd like to know.

Just read the chapter about the Good Earth in the book Season of the Witch. It mentions Wild Bill, Mousie and others. Kentucky Jim was mentioned as well. I remember that Kentucky Jim was kicked out of the commune because he and a friend were doing a lot of PCP. He moved up to Page near Cole. He and his friend lived together and his friend had a son about 4-5 years old. I was walking along Page Street and saw ambulances and police cars. It turned out that Jim and his friend had gone on a binge and when they woke up, the boy was dead. Peter and I went up to Napa State Hospital to see him. He was still very strange. He could not remember what had happened. It was so sad. Visited him twice but he didn't seem to get any better. If anyone knows what happened to him, please let me know. I really miss him. He was a very nice person.
Another Kentucky Jim story was when he went to get his driver's license. He went to the library and got a library card under Ken. T. James. He went to the DMV and got a drivers license. We laughed forever over that one.

I'm sorry I can't help you with Kentucky Jim. I don't think he's come through here, not that I can remember anyway.

 

Hi back at ya cuteness. Sorry to hear you are having health issues, but glad it's benign. Hope all works out for you. I'll be thinking good thoughts. And keep me posted about the OCF.

Thought I'd update you all on my situation. The last year has been pretty tough since hubby almost died from 02 deprivation. He was sleeping 22 hrs a day before I was able to get him to the hospital as he refused to go. When he no longer had the strength to stand up, I finally got him in. He was not able to expand diaphragm enough to expel C02. His 02 & C02 levels were completely reversed and he was very close to death. So Dr. calls me at 6am and says "Your husband is being very combative. I can make him live or I can make him die. What do you want? He will be brain damaged." No assessment of damage has ever been made, so we just guess and stumble upon issues as they arise.

The last 2 months have been total hell, with me being gone more than being home. He became extremely verbally abusive & threatened me with all kinds of shit. He wouldn't let me come home and most of the time I did not want to. I would not fight with him and just kept telling him I was not at war with him, but he was very much at war with me. He over reached and started contacting friends and spewing & ranting libel. He contacted strangers that were friends of friends and ranted to them too. He became delusional. Me & my kids tried desperately to get him help, but he was completely uncooperative. I tried to get him committed, but needed another person who witnessed imminent threats to himself or others, so no go. Last week after my son said he couldn't come to visit w/grandson unless he got guns out of the house and locked up tight, since he threatened that there were armed guards at the house and they'd shoot anyone I brought with me, he finally started to snap out of his rage. He begged me to come home, so I did since I needed more clothes and to start figuring out the next step in separating.

It was touch and go as he didn't like that I would no longer react as his wife, ie: no dinner & coming and going as I pleased. Monday we went to his shrink together and she did nothing & I'd contacted her 3 times to say he was way out of whack & drinking heavily with his shit ton of meds. At the end of the appt. he said he would lay off my friends, so I thought maybe we were making progress. Then I was out for the afternoon looking for a rental when he started texting vile shit again only 4 hrs. after he said he'd quit. I came home determined to pack up more of my stuff and get out. I knew it was risky. He'd had 3 liters of wine before I got here and it is the first time in 33yrs. that I'd ever seen him get mean when drunk. His norm is happy jolly, but his attitude was totally fucked.

He breathed down my neck while I downloaded my pictures to take, saying he didn't trust me. When I unplugged the external drive to take we fought over it and the modem plug came out. He was screaming that I had to plug it back in. I saw no reason to do that for him so he poured 120 proof moonshine on the floor of my room and threatened to set it ablaze. He stopped and got scissors & played tug of war with my quilt wanting to cut it to shreds. I had my hand poised to hit send to 911 the whole time. Then he moved my car and blocked it in with his truck to where there was no way I could get out of there. That is when I hit send. He couldn't believe I would call the sheriff, but there was no way I was staying trapped with a raving mad man. He sat behind the locked gate taunting them to come get him. It took them hrs. to talk him down and they were trying to figure out how to get me out of there in case there were shots fired. They made me go in the house, which wasn't safe since he had his keys. He did come back to the house finally to get his pistols, but fortunately I'd hidden them. He was intending to commit suicide by cop, but I saved his life, as they knew from me he was unarmed. Once he entered the house they moved right in and threatened to taze him. He has been in jail since and charged with 2 class C felonies, coercion and unlawful use of weapon, as well as menacing. I had to get a restraining order and now I am back home, a bit overwhelmed, as there is soooo much to do, but really appreciating being here by myself. Something I never got to do as he would almost never leave the property. I was not hurt at all physically.

Now to figure out how to get this place in tip top shape to get the most for selling it. A hoarder lived here. I figure it will take at least 2 yrs to do, as I badly need new knees this year. It is sad to think of giving up our paradise, all bought and paid for, but it is more than I can handle and my kids can't find jobs in Eugene to move back. Would love to get enough $ out of it to set myself up in a smaller more manageable place for a crippled old lady.
