I don't think this is the place to talk politics. I also believe name-calling is a cheapshot attack from a small minded person. I like it here the way it is. Now I have another reason to not go to fb.

 

Good morning sister Mary, I was hopeing someone would be here, It's 5:40 am here in Calif. I have been up most of the night fine tuning 30 Sun Catchers that I'm taking to Santa Cruze which is the hub of the sea glass world here in the states and a bee hive of the sea glass artists. there is a
sea glass musiem and an anual sea glass festival. I have made contact with the owners of two of the major shops in the area where the better artists pieces are bought and sold. A couple of sister friends of mine went
on a road trip there to check out the work being done by other artists and
came back stoked saying "nobodiy is doing what I'm doing. They told the owners about me and they want to see what i've got.Larry the Hat even
provided some money for copper when I ran out in the middle of last month. Anyway i feel I have a chance so wish me luck. I'm leaving right
after the bank opens this morning.This is why I havn't been posting. I have been focusing everything I have into my work.

It's really not a post about politics Sag Nasty. It's the fact of being called something that I have no claim to. If I am seen as a racist how can I do my work, it's a trust thing with healers, we work through the Divine and if are caught up in something like racial division then ppl are not inspired to heal themselves.

IDK how to reach her about this. She's a sister and I surely do not want any personal conflicts with her or anyone.

My comments were made on FB, but since the conversation is now here, I will respond here....I do apologize for name calling...I should have commented on the content of the post,not on the person...Actually, it was my friends and husband who felt the post were racist, I was more concerned about the xenophobic aspect...this comes from mybackground as a History teacher, not my perceived ethnicity..(I am adopted & don't know what my father was..other than human)....history has shown me that more people have been killed in the name I'd God than any other deity ......."there is only one race...human...everything else is culture".......
I am slightly confused,tho...the person that post on this forum seems very cosmic and spiritual ,very much like someone I would hang from time to time, yet,the person who posts on FB seems very different ....odd..
At any rate, I will gladly honor the no politics on this forum...actually, the main reason that I joined this forum, aside from reconnecting to those I know,was to have emergency contact for Darel.....lol..his biological family has had no way to contact him for years, this includes his sisters and his three sons and their children. I thought in case of the worst (his mom is aged& not doing great) I could at least get quick message to him. All we know is that he lives in Vegas. So that's my story and I'm sorta stickin to it.....hope this takes me out of the asshole category and maybe into just annoying!!!! I going to go water my garden and enjoy the sun.

I calls like I seez em...Having not read the post I am unable to comment on its content. My point still stands, however, if we are unable to live with eacb other in harmony how are we to teach others?

 

Let's see if ya'll can live with this...I don't really completely trust anybody who needs some perceived retribution from either a god or a devil to be good. If a person cannot be and do good for its own sake I would just as soon not have them near.

 

I went to Coptiola which is a bit north of Santa Cruze. I met these two ladies who own a business that sells sea glass stuff. they have six artist
but after seeing my sun catchers. they have seven artists. they are right in the middle of sea glass world and told me that they had never seen any
body do what Im doing. They bought 11 sun catchers and want more

I knew I was on to something. This crazy old hippy is so blessed and greatful

Let me reiterate to Alice's response.
1. In FB friend's posts show up on your wall. I did not post the Obama thing.. Someone on my friends list did.

2. You have jumped my ass twice. Once bc someone posted something about the Constitution and it showed up on my wall and you went off on me saying I Quote " The Constitution was written by a bunch of rich white men." You went on but I can't remember word for word, but sister I got your message.

3 You blocked me on FB bc of those posts on my wall. You did not give me half a chance. You judged and condemned me with out giving me a chance to defend myself.

4 One should follow their own heart instead of following other's hearts.

In conclusion. Alice, you have never spoken one word to me that wasn't a put down in FB. I do not judge ppl by their color, I judge them by their actions. You should get to know me rather than judging me without knowledge of who I am inside.

I hope we can get past this Alice. I mean you nor anyone else any harm. But I will be true to myself. I am all I got.

Sag Nasty,Darlin' man, If there are women about there will be drama. ESP high energy women. They sometimes fill a space too full bc of said high energy. It's hard to contain all that energy in one space.

Me and Alice will be ok. As usual it was a misunderstanding and is being worked out. Besides it barely registered on the rictor scale. If you wanted to see real drama.. scroll back a couple of yrs and read Queenie's rantings. That was Drama..lol

Everything will work as it is to work.
