Sorry, I've been out of touch up in northern woods in Vermont.
Wow. I remenber Nancy. I can still see her face.
I like what you said, Nails, about writing stories about those days. I have a lot of stored memories of them that I wouldn't mind writing down myself.

    Happy Easter, everybody.
    "He has risen!"

Hey, think about it. If Lazarus can do it, then why not Jesus?
    LOL

    See you in eternity.

    Love you all, Kenny

    Good Morning Everyone,
I hope you all had an inspiring Easter weekend and it didn't come a flood like it did here.

We started our adventure packing up to head for the Lake for our Annual Easter Fishing Exposition. Packing to go fishing is a ritualistic event that takes prioeity over everything else.

We pack everything including 'the kitchen sink' when we go. We have upgraded to a camper much to my pleasure bc I will not pitch a tent anymore and fight the sweat in the dog days of summer.

I plan to enjoy my golden yrs and not sweat my ass off and be miserable when we go out to have 'fun in the sun'. As a matter of fact, too much sun is not good for me anymore.

But I did not have to worry about getting burnt from the sun. We never saw the sun. It was hidden behind the black and rumbling rain clouds that was pouring down torrents of water upon us.

The tremendous claps of thunder could not be heard over the howling gusts of wind over 60 mph. Ohh, and the lightening, well, it lit things up so we could see the trees bending in the wind and the rain going sideways, riding on Mariah's coat tail, stinging the eyes of the onlookers.

That was Good Friday after we got set up and the trotline set and baited.

Saturday morning was fair tho' it be cloudy. It was not raining. The men braved the swells on the lake once again, to bring in the bounty of offered on the trotlines. We could not believe that after all the work and the cash for bait there were barely a hand full of fish in the basket.

As the day wore on, we made the best of it and enjoy being together. We ate and listened to music, we talked and laughed the campfire and then ate some more. Lynn cooked a hog leg in the cooker, the one he got a few weeks back. It was some good eatin' and was more than enough to feed us all.

It was a small but intimate group this yr. A lot of folks had prior commitments or the weather skeered em' off, so it was just maybe 12 people hanging out.

Easter Sunday morning, the sky was threatening to whip our ass' so the men went out to bring in the trotlines while they still could get out on the water.

Me, I knew it was fixin' to bust and I started packing the camper up and cleaning up the camp. As the men went to check one last time to see if any fish had swallowed a hook by chance, but no more had taken the bait then the previous attempt the day before.

By the time the guys got back it was sprinkling and we all started scurry around to get the trailer and trucks loaded and head for home. We were just about done loading the heavy equipment when all hell broke loose and the rain and wind was upon us with all the force of a hurricane.

The rain was so thick we could barely see in front of us as we drove through it on a wing and a prayer that we all get home in one piece.

Lynn lead the procession in his crew truck, pulling our camper and a 16 ft trailer behind the camper. Timbo, young son, behind dad pulling his camper with dad's 4 wheel drive. Summer, Timbo's young bride is behind him pulling their boat in Tim's little truck. I am guarding the rear pulling our deck boat with my trail blazer.. Can you say caravan.

Well, we made it home without too much incident, except that Tim's windshield wipers kept going out and he had to get out several time to fix them in the pouring rain and lightening. He was not a happy camper, but managed to get it parked over by the barn where the water wasn't knee high.

I'm gettin' too old for this..lol

I haven't been feeling my best lately..I had that Norwalk Virus a couple of weeks ago and it never left completely, leaving stomach discomfort and a lack of energy. I'm doing a lot better then I was. That is a mean virus

I've been reading a lot, trying to make sense out of the things ppl do to other people. I can not fathom what motivates them to be so wicked. I know we are all capable of wickedness and hatefulness .

It's just as easy to be good, kind and compassionate and then you don't have to do all that guilt thing bc you know you aren't doing the good works of LOVE.

There is a lot of talk about revolution. I doubt if that will occur. Our Youth doesn't have the guts to revolt. Their thumbs have grown flat and their eye are not accustom to daylight.

Our political leaders are running amuck and destroying our country, stripping us of our Bill Of Rights and rewriting our constitution to fit their own ugly agenda.

I had hope it would have happened sooner so I would be younger and more able to fight the good fight for truth, love and justice.

I knew back in the day that we must fight the machine but until I got older, I really didn't understand how EVIL the world leaders are, what their goal was and what role humanity played in it.

Well, I found out and it ain't pretty. It dark and demonic, Cold and hidious in nature and detests all that is good and right. It is a liar and a thief.

I don't know where it comes from but I know it was not from GOD Almighty, The Source Of All, or whichever name that is used as reference.

I don't know anything, but I feel everything. I believe. What I have is what I was given to work with. It's how I choose to use it that matters.

Intent. What you consciously do or intend to do. What your motivations are that move you to an act, whether it be of the light or of the darkness, positive/negative. It is the Intent that separates the definition.

I've intended to do a lot of things but my own shortcomings have kept me still. I hope I can fulfill what my heart desires with a little help from my friends and family.

It is extremely difficult to roll a rock uphill by ones self, unless it is a small rock to roll. As this is a unified effort, one would think that there would be more of an effort in holding that unity together.

If we are loosely bound, a weave thin and transparent, we have little strength or resistance to pressure and will come apart at the seams. What is a seam without the cloth. It servers no purpose.

What is our purpose here, and why do we grow so thin. Our cloth is made from LOVE. It's the strongest fiber there is. Nothing can break love, or wear it down. Nothing thing can compare with Love, love outshines the Sun. The sun is physical, Love is Spiritually enforced and is what drives Mankind to procreate.

    I love you

    WoW, Nothing like being ALONE...

I see that folks still log in, but do not even bother to post anymore. Some don't even bother to log in. I may as well close the door and call it quits.

I have poured out my heart and soul, put in countless hours day and night to be here for you all.

I just don't know what to do or say any more to keep us together. I feel abandoned and forgotten like yesterday's papers.

We are <-> this close to being a bonafied organization and everyone drops out to play video games or name games or food games. If that is what is important to you, I guess you can do whatever floats your boat. When you wake up and realize it's gone maybe you will think about what was lost.

I did my best, it's all I got. My battery has been drained with no charger in sight.

I'll love us until the day I die. It breaks my heart and it's hard for me to come in here to *nothing*.

One good thing came out of it all. We did save Ranger's life. Maybe that was all this was meant for. Mission Accomplished.

I miss you all so much

A Meeting? Yes, today we were suppose to have one by the timeline of our last so called meeting.

If no one is here, what is the point of any of this. If no one even bothers with it why keep beating a dead horse.

Kenny won't post, isn't answering pms. IDK what is going on. Since no one post anymore,no one talks to me, so, who knows what.

I am not angry, nor am I bitching. I am just stating the facts.

Mike sent me 100.00 to buy a phone with, which no one ever calls me on. I have to pay 50 a month 600.00 a yr to keep the service of which I barely ever use. Before I got the phone I would get calls on a daily basis.

Kenny sent me money for filing fees etc. I filed what I could with the state. That's a done deal. He sent me $ for printer ink and paper.

A few send in a little now and then. Thank You. But if no one shows up, what's the point. I can not do this alone. It's not for me, it's OUR CHURCH and a church is only as strong as the people in it.

IDK what to think anymore. I am depressed.
