I received an email from Chris this morning. He is well. They have been busy with their little piece of paradise. I really admire them. They live their life by their own terms and we are fortunate to be able to call them brother and sister. We can learn a lot from them.

Words are a very complex form of communication containing, often, several meanings which can detract from the the one speaking or writing, but they are the best we have.
By now most of you probably know of Nailskeg, Scorpio Kenny & Ranger's efforts to create Religious Non-profit 501(C)3 entity,, an effort whose time is long over due. I've been in and out of touch for many years and fully appreciate their long and enduring efforts. As we enter the 21st Century it be4comes more and more apparent that The, as a group, need to claim our space in what seems to be an ever increasing chaotic America and world. As I understand it this process is still in the early stages of development and I hope all of us who care give this effort all the support it needs especially in members and finances when called upon.
It was said a long time ago in another cause, "These are the times that try people's soul," (not the exact same words, but the same enduring quality). Faith within the Spirit is the strongest weapon we have as secular humanism seeks to make us into mechanical beings. For myself I have great empathy for those who know no power greater than themselves, but I have no illusions about the threat to yours and my well-being. Collectivism, not to be confused with communism or the facade of Democratic Socialism. and the sharing of resources.
For those you who have come on the scene at later dates; The Church of the Good Earth is a concept of assimilation of any of the many complementarity organizations. As a concept it started in 1968 as an effort to become involved in the communal/collective movement happening in the Haight-Ashbury at that time. The evolution of The Good Earth did not happen over night and as time proved it was not totally unique. Unilateral efforts have been going on throughout history. From my point of view, somehow, that small group that came together in a small apt. on Filmore St. in San Francisco tapped into the Universal Consciousness. If there were any basic tenets they were the montras' of the times,"...peace, love, and good vibes---Love God and stay high (which was not necessarily drugs) although Lucy in the Sky might have had something to do with it. To complete a historical chronology of our development will take a lot more doing and is subject to interpretations of others. In fact the historical evolution of philosophy and religion/spirituality seems to be a necessity if we are to understand our place in the cosmos.
I end with a poem that that I am circulating and is contained in a collection of mine:

    Generation Unto Generation

In the revival of the Kingdom
    replenished
by the words of the prophets,
    past and present,
    the blood of truth
shall be spread among the chosen,

    Chosen,
    not to subdue in rancor,
    but,
    through the loving care
    that lies within the promise,

    Truth,
that often stumbles on the path
    will not hide
    forever.

    The battle is ferocious.

    Confusion
    comes in many forms.
    In words
    that hiss
    past gleaming teeth.
    Behind smiles
    that hide
    hidden intent.

    When all seems lost,
    only then
    will righteousness
    be reborn.

    Through the ages
    the words
    still ring
    stay strong.
    Tomorrow
    may rest
    with our sons and daughters'
    yet
    to be born.

Great stuff you're puttin' out there Stacey. It was your's a a few others vision that lead to and built Church Of The Good Earth in the late 60s. It is befitting for you to give your interpretation of what it was all about. It is your story to tell and you tell it so well.

It has been brought up and I would enjoy hearing Steve's ideas on the subject of attracting the younger generations.

    Good Mornin' Me darlins,

Tis' a cold and frosty one today. I actually just climbed out of bed. I must be terribly sick or something to stay in bed past sunup..lol

I've been very excited lately. My Boy is coming home for a visit, yeppers Jomie and his lovely lady Cindy will be here on the 11th.. I been getting their room ready.

It's the same room my g'daughter, her boy friend and Caden my g grand son. (I miss him to pieces) had been staying in that room and OMG what a mess they left. It's clean now by gum, but I will have to buy new sheets.

They rarely came out of that room. They ate, slept and and dumped all their carp all over the bed.. food stains, fingernail polish, burn holes.. yep new sheets for sure.

My empty nest will be feathered again. Oh Joy, Oh Joy, My Boy My Boy.. I get to huggle up my boy. It's been 5 yrs sense I've seen his smiling face, his bright blue eyes and hear his laughter fill the house with mirth and merriment.

I've only seen him twice in ten years, they live in Bismark ND.. Burrrr. He's all that's left from me, sense my precious Amy died in 2000. A mamma needs her babies like she needs to breath. Ever the mother hen, worrying over her chicklets.

It's a Beautiful Day The Sun is shinning brightly. The Birds are singing. There's coffee in the pot and a crackling fire in the fireplace. Hubilcious is watching Saturday's Old Westerns, his sky blue eyes shinning with a smile. All is good

I hope every ones feels as lovingly awesome as I do today.

    Bright Blessings

Alas' I do not have skype, nor a cam or mic. I use to have a cam, but it became a hassle way back when yahoo was big. It turned into a hunting ground and I was the prey. I did away with it for good reason.

I do have headphones so I don't blast hubby out with my music. He's a country boy, I like old rock and roll. I like some country music, He listens to Willie Nelson, whom I also adore, so we meet in the middle.

Special Note: I got a call Mike Bedel. His computer is out to lunch. I'm asked to tell everyone that, so that you don't have to wonder or worry. He doesn't know what to do about it, so, he doesn't know how long it will be until he can be back here.

    Sends his Love to all!

    Me too. Me too.
