hi miss Roamy, Shameless and all, mike bedell here. i want to check in and tell ya all about the wonderful spiritual experiance i had yesterday. To atart it off wensday my bike was stolen off my front porch even though
i had locked it up it being a Canondale and my only form of transportation because when America invaded Iraq and Bushes lies of weapons of mass
distruction was exposed i stopped driving and bought myself a nice bike. anyway when I discovered the theft I had so many thoughts and emotions running through me that I just locked myself in my house and stayed until I figured out what to do. I could have called my son and he
would have bought me a new bike but he already does so much for me and besides im a fucking old Haight hippie and know that when something happens to me in my life that fucks with my heart that I can learn from the experiance by turning it around and ask "why did this happen FOR ME?" On Friday afternoon I got on a bus and went to San Anselmo where
there is a bike shop owned and operated by some young men in their 20s
I walked in and told them what had happened and about who and what I am. I told them about the Church of the Good Earth and what we are doing and confessed that I had no idea of what to do. and could they
help me out. It was so fucking cool the three guys there without hesitation stopped what they were doing and put a bike together and just gave it to me. The spiritual lesson i got from this is to trust my
heart and honesty. I now have a good running bike and some new
young brother friends. How fucking cool is that?? Im putting a Sun Catcher together for the shop using alumanum spokes instead of copper
and if they will give me a couple of bycicle front wheel rims I will drill two holes in old CDs and wire them into the spokes and make pinwheels out of them. I did this in Sausalito when I lived out on the bay. they are so flashy with the colers that the CDs throw out as the wind spins the wheel. The young people that have heard about the Haight and hippies
are very curious. extreamly excided meeting hippies like us who havent
    abandoned the love light houses.
just thought you guys would like to hear my experiance here in the rat race asphult jungle. love mike bedell[IMG]

    Sounds Cool.

Wow, so you are a serious caravan person. That is really neat.

Maybe goats on the roof of the caravan, when you get one. A little fence around, grass and sprinklers, and seat-belt harnesses for the goats.

My imagination runs wild, and so do the goats.

Mike, may the bike thief feel real guilty and bring you your bike back, and apologize to you.

    Karma.

Bad is bad, and wrong is wrong.

LOL. Some of us can't afford doors.

LOL they say that about windows as well.

Sure glad that I don't live in Antarctica ! I'd freeze to death.

Now I know why there are always so damn many flies in here.

    love a :coffee: thanks...

no flies on me.. I hang a gallon size zip lock baggie half filled with water with a penny in it. They don't like that at all.. so open windows are good and let the fresh air in and stale air out :)

YOU ARE SO RIGHT ABOUT THAT SHAMELESS. THAT INSPIRED ME TO WRITE THIS POEM WHICH I JUST POSTED ON MY POETRY CORNER BUT
IT IS SUCH A POWERFUL LESSON THAT I WANTED TO SHARE IT HERE ALSO.

    THE SPIRITUAL WARRIOR

THE SPIRITUAL WARRIOR STANDING TALL AND ALONE,
IN HIS STRUGGLE FOR SELF AWARENESS
LIVING HIS LIFE UNATTACHED TO ITS OUTCOME
HE FINDS FREEDOM FROM LIFE'S UNFAIRNESS.

    HE PONDERS NOT THE FUTURE
    HE PONDERS NOT THE PAST
HE HOLDS ON TO THE HERE AND NOW
    TO MAKE EACH MOMENT LAST.

    HE'S NOT JUDGEMENTAL OF HIMSELF
AS TO WHETHER HE'S LOSING OR HE'S WINNING
BECAUSE HE KNOWS THAT IN THE SPIRITUAL LIFE
WE ARE ALWAYS AT THE BEGINNING.

Hi Mary.... No Darel is not sleeping in his tipi. He's out looking for a job.. I dropped in a few times to check on the logo and to find out how many members we have. Frankly I thought you were all asleep...! No one was around......? I talked to Ranger briefly but, he sounded like he didn't want to talk so I left... Didn't get a response ...? Oh well that's the breaks... Sagdarel

Well.... It's working out ok... With anything there r problems that's part of life.... We all have to be thankful for what we have at any given time..... I spend a lot of time looking for wood around the neighborhood. A lot of ppl can't burn rotten 2 by 4's, or big pieces of oak. Branches that ppl trim from their trees. I just burned a 20 foot fence 4 by 4's and all ... I acquired a 14" electric chain saw 3 weeks ago. It makes things a whole lot easier..!!!! Whatever I can't saw or chop I'll split with my trusty ax and that how one does that....!!!!
Hey Ranger....Say... I was curious to find out how many members we have now....? And also ....was our logo brought up in the meeting at all...?? I miss all of you very much...! Which I hope your all know that...!!! It's over cast in sac right now looks like it's going to be a very cold night. Up at 5:30 .tomorrow I'am taking a hazordous waste class all this week. It will increase my chances of getting a job. If it gets any colder I'll be wearing my buckskins.... Looking forward to the next powwow one will pop up soon.. Will share all the action with you...!! Anyway i'am sitting in front of mcdonalds using their wifi... Better get back to the tipi and start a fire.. Until next time be safe lv always sagdarel. :sunny::sunny:
