:blush5: I never realized how cute I was until I got old and looked back on the days of my youth. Damn, I was young when I hit the streets. I am amazed I made it out alive. I looked like a babe in the woods. But behind all that innocents stood a survivor. I was tough enough, too tough for some palates.

I was learning just like everyone else. We all had our lessons to learn and grow from and grew we did.

:coffee: Morning ya'll.....DJ=Debra Jean, the sweet little girl who when working on a car at the corner of Haight & Ashbury one day while talking to Sky when Stacy, Sam, Ceryll and one or two others of their ilk pulled up in a car and summoned Sky the foxy young lady turned and in no uncertain terms with a five pound sledge in hand replied "I'm talking to him!" and they sped away as I watched in amused amazement as these 'community elders' exited swiftyly stage right!

We had to be tough- to survive! I often think of the brothers and sisters that didn't make it out of the '60s or the Haight. We are all survivors that are still here!

Always wished that I had had a chance to know her better. Seemed that we never hung out in the same circles. Or in the same places. Too Bad.

I didn't know her as Debra Jean.
It seems that I only knew her in the movies. All too delightful for words.

Dj did get the handle Boy Scout Debbie & often had a wrench or hammer in her hands. We were roomies most of my time in the Haight and she forced me to move to Or. after she did, Then we got Pwcca to move here too. We are all in Eugene and have mostly been here since leaving S. F. Log Truck Driver would also sound like an appropriate name for her.

Sag, really glad to hear you turned around. I'm amazed. The OCF is indeed a glorified DHN party, but daytime, there is no alcohol allowed but lots of great people watching opportunities. Some smoke does waft out from the tree lines. But if you've never been it is an amazing experience, but costly for food. It is a place of magic and love with many babies stemming from meetings that happen at this fair fair. It is not describable but once you've been you won't forget it.

Sag, any idea whatever happened to Scorpio Mary or Travis? Last time I saw her it was a sad state.

Last i heard she was in Portland married to Garrett Meisnser. A news item on tv told of g being beaten half to death by a gang of ghetto youth. Can't place when. Data parked on a dead cell. Older i get more parking spaces.
