Church of the Good Earth 1963 and Beyond

Morning!

What do ya think of this one? I was thinking about inventing some kind of coffee jerky. Like, hard tough solid coffee that you'd have to rip into with your teeth. You'd heat it first with a cigarette lighter.

Kind of for camping. Like if you had no water in Iraq, the Army could use it. Instead of M.R.E. Meals ready to eat, they could have C.R.E. Coffee ready to eat. LOL

Guys would buy it just to show off how tough they are. Macho. That kind of thing. What do ya think?

A person could just lay in bed and reach over and grab the jerky off of the night stand.
Make sense?

I just found out some tragic news:

Diane Hylan of The Good Earth died last night

 

Oh my God that's horrible.

Which Diane? I think that I know who you mean. I didn't know her last name. Describe her please.

 

Rest In Peace Diane, you will be both remembered and missed.

 

May she now be free of any and all pain and suffering if any and join all those who watch over us in harmony.
And may her family be consoled at the loss of her spirt.

The site went down for me too for about 15 minutes but is working fine now. I think the webmaster was working on something.

Hi. Morning!

 

Morning all,

I am hoping to get to town today. It is suppose to clear up, but as I gaze out my office window I see wet roads and a cloud covered sky. It's a fifty mile round trip to the nearest wally world where I can get the phone.

If it gets too bad out, I'll ask Lynn to drive me. It's not suppose to be bad today but this is Texas and ya never know which way the wind blows or which creek has washed out the oil tops.

It's kinda been a mad house around here, not that any one was mad, just everything came down at once. The Baby getting sick, the doc apts, the ole man sick, grand daughter pregnant and irritable. The laundry piling up, washing the dishes and floors are never ending, carrying in the wood for the fire place a constant. Planning and cooking the meals. Taking GD's b/f to work, picking him up. And trying to start a non profit.

Diane's death hit me hard and tears over take me at any given moment. I am in the throws of grief for my lost sister. I am trying to hold it together and be strong, even when my heart is breaking. I saw her picture this morning and a river of tears drenched my face as I realized I would never look into her eyes again, or share laughter and even tears or the Love we had for one another.

She called me the other day to tell me she was leaving. We cried together I miss her.

 

So, sad, I now pray for the living who suffer. God Bless and sooth them.

 

The Church is getting official. Wow!
