Hi all here is the info on the "BOOK" lol

Title: RELEGRAPH 3 A.M./The Street People of Telegraph Avenue Berkely California
    AUTHOR/PHTOGRAPIST: RICHARD MISRACH
    Publication number 1
    Cornucopia Press 1974
    Library of Congress Catalogue Card#74-16786
TO:Denise,Grace, the Earth People's Park Commune and the rest of the street people

Special Thanks to the National Endowment for the Arts who helped make the project possiable. Also, thanks and permissions granted by the publishers who hold the rights to quotes in the book:
Babylonian Penitential Psalms, (and many others as stated in front of book)

5% of all the profits from the book were to be given to Berkely Food Project and the Berkely Free Clinic.

Only 3000 copies of the book were printed by Phelps/Schaefer Litho-Graphics,S.F. CA September, 1974

After perusing it again MANY memories of folks from my past were brought back to the front of my mind along with struggles that we faced at the time.

Sheila was also able to have it signed by Mr. Misrach who was teaching at UCBerekly back then. A nice touch. And she put her own incription in the beginning remarking that this would be an important reference for me/us in the future to look back on to remind us of our "Spirt" and of times that will not be repeated!

    peace/love
    Wah

If anyone wants to know if any pics of them are in the book ask and I will let you know! Street names were the norm so that will most likely be how any pictured will be represented.

ps JD there is a great shot of you and Creeps(steve C) and you are called Street Musicians.. Apt representation for you JD but for Creeps.....lol His "Good Carma Wood Company" will be SEARED in Sheilas memory forever as that was the WETEST LOAD of wood ever to be provided to her when we lived in the Tiller house!! That story still is remembered every year when we light up the fireplace the first time each season!! May Steve Rest in Peace!!

Ever hear of Hit and Run Jam Band?

What family site do you have? Can I get a link? The way the health thing is these days would like to connect with as much of the folks from back then while still able! lol

[IMG][IMG]Nails; NAILS; There were so many of us and so few have found this forum. I wonder how we can reach out to more of our brothers and sisters. In my bones I feel like we need another big family get together. I'll give you a holler on the phone in a few days.

Ranger; Did you find out from Eden if I was right about the Kitten's Darrel being the model for the male Carnal Carburator. P.S. I still use the female one every once in a while.

Mouse: I hope the Country fair goes well. I'm going to try and get out there next year and say Hey.

Shils; I'm also fighting the sugar. Stay well.

Wild Bill; If you see this, cast me (I'm tired of doing law for a living).

AND TO THE REST OF MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS WHEREVER YOUR ARE I HOPE ALL IS WELL WITH YOU AND YOURS.

    Reach me http://www.wlzev.com
    Love and Peace out.

ZEV, I feel your frustration.. I thought that Back To The Garden would bring them in to reconnect.. don't know.

Wild Bill is in Romania making movies.. I heard there's a branch of GE in Belgium..Spud hasn't heard from Bill in a while..I think he went Zin. Spud will be in Eugene at the OCF with Mouseman and Heather, Mouse and Heather will be selling Kettle Korn. MM siad they may be moving to Mexico after what happen to Woodpecker.

GE was thinking about having a reunion at Goodstock, but the OCF was too close to when GS was happening and they are committed to OCF.

I would have a reunion here at the farm, but most of the family are in Oregon and I don't know if they would travel that far.

When Ranger and Rita came to visit me last yr, Ranger said Eden and Kitten were still in the city. I talked to Eden on the phone a few times.. she hasn't changed a bit :)

Maybe we can plan something for next spring when it's cooler weather.

    Bright Blessings

    Cakes;

A spring reunion sounds great. Or, since a bunch of people are in Oregon, we could do it at the Oregon Country Fair next year. Lets see if we can get it going.
    peace out

Next years OCF may be the BEST place to try to meet again as so much seems to be happening now to a lot of folks. Hopr that there is more than one year left got folks to try to get togather for a good time and to relax and remember the times togather, and just hang out whir friends from the past.

Been a weird two months maybe the moon or planets are spinning funny??

    TC all

    Hi Good Earthers,
OCF is cool by me... I was thinking of having a get together here for the weekend here.. I don't know if anyone wants to come to Texas but it is lovely in the Spring.. the summers are too hot and humid and misqutoes and fire ants are out in force, not a good time to have it here, then. Most everyone is already up there anyway, so it stands to reason that Eugene would be the place for the next reunion.

Glad to see you Chris..huggs.. hoping your feeling better now

    Brightest Blessings

    My Brothers and Sisters;

Which ever place, or season, we decide upon (I admit I'm partial to Oregon and the OCF idea) let's get the word out, work at it, and make it real.
    peace out

Fall is on it's way..The Sun is moving over to make room for the Moon. the Sun vacations in the far east while the Moon washes us in Silvery beems of light..the friut on the vine grows smaller as the Sun moves further away.. The morning dew lay heavily on the green grass.. steam rizes from the pavement as the cool mist meets the heat the Sun left on the road... creating a foggy eerieness that intriges the sences... a cool breeze sends a shiver as it refreshes the body from the sweat of summers heat when the Sun rizes high.. The Moon kisses the Sun goodnight as Luna puts on her night dress of silvery essences and dons the sky in her mistque. Nocturnal as the Hootie Hoot of the wise old Owl drifts over the meadow and the night creatures skidder long the path, filling their bellies on natures buffet... the only sound is the crickets solom vow to sing through the night to let all living things know that all is well in the Kingdom.

    Blessed Be

Where is everyone at.. it's getting lonely in here.. I'l have to get a pet if this keeps up.. maybe a chia pet, they don't make a mess on the floor plus a little water is all they need to exsist.. not great conversationalist tho.. Maybe a Parrott then.. naww their too messy and they pickup the fowlest language (heh heh)
