I know my daddy feels his pins and plates in his neck and back. Probably different type of metal now days so won't feel it as much. It's all healed and I never notice it anymore. Just the scar really. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't. It feels tingly most of the time.

My daddy can feel the shift in the weather pretty accurately though. He'd sit inside or outside having a beer or a cup of coffee and he'd stretch his neck left to right, shudder, with an achy look on his face and say "I feel the rains are coming" and he'd be spot on too. Before I even bother to check the weather.

Also the smell of mowed grass was a give away too. If I smelled mowing, it would rain soon.

 

I've heard people say they can feel their scar pulling or something if it's going to rain. I have an appendectomy scar that's several inches long. I've felt it a few times but not often.

its the atmospheric pressure...

True. I thought the plates themselves might get colder or something. It'd make sense if the scar shrinks and then you feel the buzzing of it.

 

A former neighbor had a lot of metal in her leg and she said it really hurt in the cold. I don't know how old her surgery was though.

 

When I look at car rental it all looks cheap. Only $23US a day!! Add all the bullshit and it's like $147. =\

Oh well, that's for two days in Texas. As of right now our whole trip is 100% organized.
Miss and I have done the naughty and not told anybody yet but we are slipping away for the night in Asheville to go stay in a B&B at a mansion on the countryside. I cannot fucking wait for that!

I was looking at a few around the area. The big pink one looked nice too hehe and it was said to be more a couple/romance B&B. I was thinking, possibly hoping... we'd find some like minded couples in there to have fun with but it also might just be like.. Honeymoon and couple that don't play around type of place too. Also, I wasn't so sure about the pink. Comes across a touch tacky.

I only watched that the other week and I forget what happens because I was so stoned.
I always seen the cover though, looking all hard core similar to The Terminator cover.
It's starting to come back to me a bit... I think Cobra was a little fun and trigger happy.

 

The part that stuck with me even as a little kid was when he called his partner violent. Most of it i forgot being it was almost 30 years since i saw it.
Damn sly is old.

 

A lot of that goes on in that town, but it would be hard to set something up for such a brief stay.
