I am rather distrustful of anyone who wants into my information on my computer or wants to use my bandwidth without disclosure. They did not disclose all of this when releasing 10. You can go in and make changes to all the default settings and that will eliminate a lot of backdoors but most people are not tech savy and simply accept the default settings without knowing what they are accepting.

If you do not change the defaults then the post Ty made earlier in this thread and the bandwidth issue are an invasion of your computer and information and not a justifiable change in their software. It does not benefit you in anyway.

 

Alright, so you say the bandwidth is pirated! Yarrgh! Well that can't be. I'll turn it off if I ever get Windows 10.

 

I believe lots of the deepweb stuff has been proven to be fake or is in some reasonable amount of doubt. I wouldn't take all of it too seriously.. Although there certainly are some disturbing sites up there.

i knew a guy that worked in a uranium mine (uranium capital of the world is near me)

he got some weird throat cancer and had to use one of those buzzbox things to speak

some scrap yards here have radiation detectors to drive through to protect them from buying contaminated material

smashed up smoke detectors will set it off...and old jeeps (radiactive coatings on speedo needles)

i had that for lunch

took garlic bread and cut the center out....placed it on top of bacon in frypan and then dropped an egg in the hole


good with bread but garlic bread makes it twice as good

I know when the probation period is over and the real hiring starts. small little shit like taking food might be considered theft. as a trainee we have break first, and lunch first too. this so we are not in the way of the control room personnel .. they havent the time to piss, smoke and eat like we do, most have to take their lunch snacks back to their terminals. we only get breaks cause its training. taking food form other workers might not be a good idea..

there's nothing like learning how to write the alphabet and numbers all over again, everything must be 100% legible .. fmitn.. (fuck me in the neck) my penmanship sucks. thankfully excel does most the work. but that's only a 10th of what I have to do .. some the car card must be filled with those stinky magic markers. my hand smelled like chemical plastic for hours.

We have the famous Mancini Bread here. Ive a friend who works there. get much free bread or discount. I just got a toaster oven. ive never had one in my whole life. < 45yrs and my first toaster oven. that is kinda crazy .. I love it.
