    Capitalism Sucks!
    by Wolf Larsen

There's too much war. There's too much poverty. There's too much unemployment. There's too much homelessness. There's too many people working their butts off for low wages. Meanwhile the capitalist pigs are getting richer than ever.

Walk down the streets of America. What do you see? Lots of misery! While the capitalist pigs got bailouts much of the rest of the population got royally screwed. So many people lost their jobs, and then they lost their homes. Others are losing their pensions. Wages are stagnant, while corporate profits are up up up!

Sadly, more women than ever are engaging in informal prostitution to supplement their meager incomes. Before the latest economic crisis it was common enough to see pretty young women with their sugar daddies in the more affluent parts of any major city. But now with this economic crisis it's quite common to see pretty young women with sugar granddaddys. It's sad. But a lot of young women feel that they don't have a choice. They have rent and mortgages to pay, and they don't want to join the legions of homeless begging in the streets.

A lot of people still can't find a job. A lot of employed people are having trouble paying their bills with the low wages they receive. The unequal distribution of wealth just keeps getting worse and worse. For example, a few members of the Walton family (who own Walmart) have more money than the poorest 30 percent of Americans combined. And Walmart workers struggle to get by on minimum wage.

There are many homeless on the streets of American cities. And yet many condominiums and houses are empty. This is the inefficiency and insanity of the capitalist system.

The number of closed factories is so high that the American Midwest is known as the "rust belt".

It is time to rebuild America. Capitalism just doesn't work for us anymore, or rather it only works for the rich. In the second half of the nineteenth century and the first half of the twentieth century the bourgeoisie invested the money to help build factories. But now the bourgeoisie damages the economy with their endless speculative schemes (like derivatives & junk bonds). The bourgeoisie take all the endless profits they make from our labor and they hide it in places like the Cayman Islands. America is becoming a shell of its former self, because of the endless greed of the bourgeoisie.

Under socialism the USA will would be rebuilt. Massive amounts of money will be injected into infrastructure and new industry, and everyone will have the right to a job. The minimum wage will be substantially increased. Quality medical care will be free for all. Women will be paid equal wages for equal work, and there will be free quality childcare for working women. Under socialism, the ill begotten wealth of the bourgeoisie will be confiscated, and the bourgeoisie will have to get a job!

The first step toward socialism is to build a workers party. Forget about the Democrats and the Republicans – the politicians of both political parties are basically prostitutes of the bourgeoisie.

Those who work must rule! America needs a workers revolution.

some people just need something to complain about, no matter what system was in place. there is always room to complain that its not fair to some. and he would complain in their defense...even if they were stupid people that refused to educate themselves and that was the only reason they were not like everyone else that had a good life.

Too much people suck. Every political system has more chance to succeed if it isn't overloaded. Too many people means too many needs, it can work for a long time but in the end some link in the chain will cause a problem. We can handle a lot of problems, from health to lack of labour, to lack of rights, to too much rules etc. etc. but with too many people there will be a time the system just can't handle it. It does not matter which system it is, it is the people that have to make it work.

Do the math. Divide world GDP by the number of people on the planet to see what we should all be living on if the wealth was truly spread evenly

Globalisation has suited other countries better than America. So really its just a bunch of fat Americans whining cause they cant afford as much KFC anymore, when 2/3 of the world is in the shitter

And maybe offer a better alternative rather than just whining

The theory sounds so simple. Same with my theory if we had less people we had less trouble distributing everything to everyone. I instantly admit that the majority of the people doesn't seem to see the need to cut back population growth in the (nearby) future so it is not a practical solution either (only in theory). Same with dividing everything equally though. Nice utopia. I'm not aiming to be a debbie downer, I am just saying both theories seem roughly equally realistic.

that dosnt work for one simple reason, some places are more desirable to be than other places.
someone is more likely to want to live on a beach than a desert. so the price of that land will go up. when that happens the person will have to charge more money in the job that they do.

you want to have things even for everyone but i dont consider it even when one person is living below sea level in new orleans with a chance that the next hurricane will flood their house as the person living on mountain that will never have their house flooded even when the ice caps melt.

I didnt say anything about a theory, just a simple equation worlds wealth, which is hard to actually pin down, divided by worlds population and we are talking somewhere around the 100 million perperson mark, very roughly

There isnt any actual valid reason anyone on this earth should be living in poverty

i think your numbers are a little off, or you dont realize that the planet cant sustain with 6 billion plus people making 100 million each. now weather or not people should be living in poverty...well that is just human nature to take advantage of the weak and stupid. even if the government butts in there and gets those people their fair share....most of them will still be to stupid to keep it or to invest it wisely. i know of many cases of poor people winning the lottery and losing it all...it isnt a coincidence. some people just arent good with money.
now when your talking worldwide, that just isnt the way our economy was set up. unfortunately this isnt a fantasy world where people who dont pay taxes in a country get the benefits of the people that do pay taxes in that other country.

I think it's very simple. There's people who want a job. Under socialism everyone will have the right to a job.
People who work deserve a decent wage. Under socialism minimum wage will be doubled.
If you work you pay taxes. You should get something for your taxes besides Barack Obama's war in Afghanistan. For your taxes you should get instead free quality medical care, free quality childcare for all women who work, and affordable decent housing for all.
All these wars are bankrupting our country. The war profiteers are making out like bandits. Economic competition between capitalist countries brings military competition and war.
Capitalism had its day. It has outlived its historical purpose. Most of the capitalist world today is in crisis. Meanwhile, China with its planned economy is booming.
During the Great Depression the Soviet Union was also booming economically.
While the Stalinist bureaucracies may suck, capitalism sucks even more.
I support Trotskyism. I believe in WORKERS democracy. Those who labor must rule!

As far as I am aware, min' wage would not be doubled - it would be min' wage plus half. Regardless of profession everybody would get the same wage. Why on earth would anybody willingly train for upto 10 years to get the same wage as a person who has done no training at all?
Socialist countries don't get: free quality medical care, free quality childcare for all women who work (why just women?), and affordable decent housing for all.

    No incentives to work.

No it doesn't. Not by default. Hardly - if any - countries are at war with each other. If so, name a few.
As far as I am aware, the USSR 'subsidised' it's stagnate productivity with a massive build up of it's military power - leading to the cold war.

Ever heard of: Boom, Bust and Economic bubbles?
During the 20th century neither country could rely on self containment (Autarky).

What, exactly, is wrong with capitalism? The entire argument seems to be based on an inability to accept the natural inequality that exists between individual humans as the means by which one form of capital is acquired to be exchanged for another form of capital. It is not something that can be changed equitably by any form of government.

No, I want humanistic, regulated capitalism. So, in the eyes of the republican party, godless socialism.

Leon Trotsky and Vladimir Lennin where murderous, dispicable men.

They didn't kill as many as stalin, but only because one died and the other one lost out to stalin.

And ehh, maybe he was the least murderous of them. But he was murderous.
