Black Lives Matter Accused Of Tying Up And Torturing Disabled Man

What an insufferable load of bullshit!

Let's start with linking BLM and their supporters to this.

The Chicago Police who I'm sure are no big fans of Black Lives Matter and would have everything to gain by hanging it on them and their supporters. Stated that this has nothing to do with Black Lives Matter.

Black Lives Matter posted on their Facebook page the day after it happened disavowed it.

There were no references to Black Lives Matter in the taunts that they were screaming.

The neighbors said they were wannabe thugs.

Black Lives Matter has never advocated violence against white people or the police.

These are facts. They are irrefutable.

Since these facts that distance Black Lives Matter from the incident are not being acknowledged by some people in this forum I decided to see who first connected it to Black Lives Matter. That seems like a fairly logical thing to do. So I looked it up as opposed to taking the connections to Black Lives Matter as fact rather than take it at face value and drag them through the mud over something that they weren't involved in. The link that I found was back to someone who works for a Conspiracy Theory website and a White Supremacist. I never said that you were a white supremacist if you believed it. I said that you should look into who started the rumor and question their validity.

I never victim blamed here. I never said that I feel for the pieces of shit who did this. As a matter of fact I went out of my way to say not only how deplorable that I found it but why I found it deplorable. Come to think of it when someone questioned the victims parents parenting skills I even defended them as parents.

Do I believe this was a hate crime? Absolutely,

Do I believe that this was racially motivated? Fucking A!

Do I believe that it has anything to do with Black Lives Matter? No.

Beyond the standard issues regarding Race and Disability in this I think the concept of Malignant Narcisism plays a major role in this crime.

I also think that if you want to connect Black Lives Matter to this then you have been duped by a Snake Oil Salesman selling conspiracy theories and a virulent white supremacist.. That doesn't mean that you are a white supremacist it just means that you have been duped by one. Don't be pissed with me for pointing it out be pissed at yourself for allowing it to happen.

As for the New York Daily News I have no opinion of them. Actually I'm a huge Trae Crowder fan and appreciate how he is really good a cutting through the bullshit.

I also wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Black Lives Matter to organize a protest when the shitheads get sentenced.

The fact is that you didn't really know where this rumor started continued to refer to the shitheads who did this as BLM Supporters in spite of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Then continued to try and read their message into this horrific act.

Why do you believe that these attackers have any connection to Black Lives Matter?

shop at establishments owned by your own people
Only talk to your own
Only support your own kind
Marching and burning down businesses
Marching and beating people, dragging them out of cars because of ethnicity

It is very reminiscent of other things in history.

When someone grows up hearing these things from an organization, a community, and repeat things they say, they have been influenced by a racist group or have heard it from a racist person. Someone they respect and look up to, look to for guidance.

Young people are impressionable, maliable. These people are adults and knew it was wrong. It does not excuse them of a racist crime, but it does make others accountable.

From the beginning I have said the ones who watched this and did nothing are guilty of a crime too. This was completely ignored. Several times I mentioned it. No one said anything. Ignored that too. Only when it became public did people who watched, knew, only then did they pretend to care, self righteous. Not cool, I can't be your friend. Only when external was looking at it. They knew it was wrong and someone needed help. Did not care until they were caught.

I know the story of kitty, she was a lesbian. She I believe is the reason today there is a centralized number you call in an emergency. 911. People called, calls routed incorrectly back then. 30 did not see, 2 did and one of those two was a good friend in the building, he was drunk, gay and went out into the hall, saw the perp, was afraid. He did call for help and the operator was to call the police. Things got messed up.

There is no reason not to call, afraid of being a snitch ? Not an excuse. I look at everything, what if it was my sister, my brother, my mom, my dad, would I want someone to have compassion and look beyond the fact that their friend or family is committing a crime? No compassion, none, family or not, I would call. To not call, to turn your back makes you guilty too because in turning your back you are condoning it.

Stabbed in the arm, head, face cut, beaten, racial slurs, humiliated, clothes cut off him, drink out of the toilet hot ashes put in the wounds. Told he was going to die. They were going to kill him. They were going to kill him. People knew and just watched. Now the papers, the people are trying to put some syndrome on it, to make people unaccountable for a crime. Are we raising a society of sociopaths today?

At no point in your response did you even mention it. You mentioned things that you have heard throughout your life. You recounted a painful incident and people not doing the right thing and your anger and frustration over that. But you didn't tell me why you believe Black Lives Matter is connected to this.

Were the attackers screaming Black Lives Matter while they were doing this?

On their social media sites were there links to Black Lives Matter/police brutality stories?

Was the apartment wallpapered with pictures of police shooting victims?

If you watched the video before anyone attached Black Lives Matter to it would you still think there was a connection?
