This and the fact that you didn't provide any feedback for the latter part means its pretty natural to assume you didn't read it.

Perhaps, but ultimately I don't care. I don't try to push my beliefs on other people. Trying to pass an ancient book (written my human beings) off as literal, objective truth is tantamount to that.

Actually no it isn't, not in a "logical" discussion, as you keep referring to and it was a mistake to do so.

Again with the "I don't care", is this just about one thing or is this "I don't care" more general?

"I don't try to push my beliefs on other people"? And ultimately that's exactly what you're doing.

"Trying to pass an ancient book (written my human beings) off as literal, objective truth is tantamount to that"? This book is the basis for Christianity and personally, I like to discuss it and offer meanings for it that don't seem to be self-contradictory and seem to have a basis in what the other scriptures seem to say. That is what I hope others, who also believe the Bible is true, are trying to do and that is what I try to do. Now, if that seems like I'm "pushing my beliefs" on others, so be it.

But it seems that you just want to dismiss the Bible as just some "ancient book (written my human beings)", does that mean you that you are not a Christian? If not, my question still stands, what are you doing in Sanctuary? Also seeing as this Thread is titled "Bible Questions", do you have a Bible question that you would like answered or are you just here to intimate that I "push my beliefs on other people"?

    How does that work?

Wouldn't it take more than that (pass an ancient book off as literal, objective truth) to reach the level of pushing one beliefs?.... Seriously.

....And, what are you guys talking about right now? Not a hide nor hair of a conversation to be found.

It's okay wit me if youse guys wanna debate an issue. Just try to think of your audience and make it a little more entertaining, huh? :D

Is the Noah's ark story to be taken as literal or is it to be used as some kind of strange morality (loosely used term) tale?

Latin is an Italic language, derived first from the Italic alphabets, which originally came from the Greek and Phoenician scripts.

The New Testament was written in Koine Greek, it was the common Greek of the people.

Three different languages were originally used in writing the Bible. One was Koine Greek but also Hebrew and Aramaic were used.
