How is it possible to love your enemies?

It just sounds idiotic.

 

I didn't say that there are no Christians in the US military but if as you said Christians are to love their enemies, why would a Christian join an organization dedicated to killing your enemies.

Well you could start off by not killing them.

Perhaps to you it sounds that way but what does hating your enemies accomplish? Does it stop the hatred? Does it make the world a better place?

 

where was Jesus during the three day resurrection?

 

It appears he was sleeping in death. He was in the common grave of mankind, so it could be said he was in hell for three days. Resurrection is the bringing back into existence someone who once existed and who no longer exists, dead and bringing them back into existence. So Jesus as a person did not exist for three days.

 

Who knows? but they have done it and continue to do it in spades to this day.

And if you guys think Christians are wimps. You haven't been reading the bible. Christians have no problem girding themselves for a fight to defend themselves or their freedom. And they/we can be quite vicious in that regard.

I don't think we can say he die and went to hell I really doubt it! his Jesus men! He created it. I think he was in Heaven then on the Third day Sunday he took his body because He didn't want people to make images of him hence his commandments. I also think their more symbolism to his three days from the time being crucified and resurrected, notice how he he rested at least his body on the Sabbath thats pretty interesting and also how all this took place in three days hense the father the son and the holy spirit.

Well nobody's asshole and I was indicating that homosexual acts may not be as harmless as you seem to be inferring. Only God would know all the hidden and long term effects of homosexual acts and he seems to think we should avoid homosexual acts. Perhaps humans don't have all the facts and God does.

What has this got to do with what we're talking about? Everybody I know could be a homosexual and that would not change whether homosexuality is harmful or not.
