That's right Mel! See you get it. I was going to say that too but I could only think of the fictional lands from Conan sagas.
We have all heard of Pangea. Which doesnt mean it is not ridiculous to say UK is not or should not be in Europe. And forgive me for not loling at your every joke. Like I said, we cant guess just when are you joking or being serious.
This is a difficult question. I lived in Europe for about ten years. The Netherlands was the most friendly and fun place back in the late '90s. Turkey is beautiful!!!!! Geographically, only half of Istanbul is in Europe and the rest of the country is in Asia.
It's hard to choose only one country. Last summer me and my best friend went on a 2-week European road trip. It was probably best journey I ever had. We drove to Italy and France. Then we visited Poland and drove to Ukraine where we had the best weekend ever. We booked daily apartments in kiev and spent a few days there. I liked that city so much. Then drove back up to Belgium. That whole summer was great.
Budapest This is my number one travel destination. You can stay in a beautiful apartment through airbnb for soooo cheap..like $40 - 50 a night.
Really?? This just went to the top of my list. Budapest seems underrated... It would also be cool to buy an RV, and travel the entire US. I'm a bit envious of those on here who post their vans, and they live out of them. Idk if I could do that, but.... lol
Plane tickets are like 2 grand from any of the 3 closest airports to me though. Bit pricey. Maybe you'll find a better deal where you are. I prefer underrated places, cant stand huge crowds of tourists i agree an RV would also be awesome
I prefer driving when travelling. You see much more this way, especially missing out on big cities, instead you see the lost gems of the country. I often am asked if I've done a conteki tour or something, I know they're cheap and I guess that's a good thing but I've looked into them and it's so rushed and go to generic places. What you need is time, you can't do a place a night like that, I'm a minimum 3 nights in a place kind of person, like a special place I want to visit. I adore driving through towns and picking up souvenirs. It's the way to do it, your pace and your agenda. But it's not cheap doing it my way either and not everybody has the luxury of month long trips. Small motor homes are good we did a central Euro trip like 8 years ago in a small motor home with another couple. I was the tour guide and we for a month went all around Germany, Austria, Poland, Czech, Slovakia. Pull in at truck stops and camp grounds. Easy peas.
