Personally I think Goldfinger was the best, but Casino Royale is a close second. To me Sean Connery was the best Bond, but Daniel Craig seems to be more of the kind of guy that James Bond was meant to be in the first place.
1. Octopussy 2. You Only Live Twice 3. The Man With The Golden Gun 4. Casino Royale 5. Dr. No Sean Connery is my favorite Bond, but lets see what Daniel craig can do
God dam I've seen Goldfinger SOOOOOO many times!!! LOL - A lot of the older ones are really good but some of the new ones are pretty decent too
i havent seen all of them, actually i havent seen any of the sean connery ones, mostly the roger moore ones. from what ive seen id say spy who loved me, man with the golden gun. i thought casino royale was good but he was way too dark(i mean in an evil sort of way not racialy) and just wasnt a great bond movie
skeezix your right sean connery is the best bond but daniel craig is one of the best in years ,and he brings the popov and fleming feel back to bond
This Casino Royale Bond wasn't Bond as we know him. No romps in bed with multiple women. No cool devices. No uber cool car. No fantastic song with naked looking chicks in silhouette. It was a whole different thing. It had a prequel sort of vibe to it. I won't say I didn't enjoy it but it wasn't exactly Bond either, yanno?
most of them don't have multiple women the Aston Martin. nuff said A) you must not have seen that many bonds, they don't all have chick's sillhoutes in the opening, and Chris Cornell's song was cool as balls =D
One must remember that Casino Royale was James Bond's first mission as a "00" agent. His first one! He's not the sauve, sophisticated agent we know. He's still raw, still learning the tricks and if he's lucky, he'll survive the learning curve (but, of course, we know he does). Besides, would you trust a brand new agent with high-tech devices if there was a very good possibility that he wouldn't be coming back?
For me, It's the TOMORROW NEVER DIES......This Bond movie was a blockbuster....Starred by Peirce Brosnan..
Tomorrow Never Dies got me into watching James Bond. Prior to that I'd go off and do somethingelse instead. After that I got what all the fuss was about and am gradually getting through them. Didn't like Casino Royale though. Thought Daniel Craig was without charm or intelligence and the film was directed like a third rate Bourne Identity though the story underneath wasn't bad.
Everybody keeps saying that Sean Conery the the Bond to beat but every time I try to watch one of those movies is laim as shit...I dunno maybe is because we're all so use to modern action and special effects and shit but common... the other day I saw one that Bond was crawling on the cealing with bathroom plunges attached to his knees and hands... I know it was the sixties but thats very crappy even for 5-year-olds. Now, Casino Royale, in my humble opinion is te only one worthy.
All the Connery Bond films are at the very least solid flicks. And I really liked "License To Kill". Bond was pretty badass in there. Casino Royale as well. Roger Moore's Bond tends to veer into "guilty pleasure" territory, though. However I do like The Man With The Golden Gun quite a bit.
