Oh wow! Only 120,000 murders with guns. Well then that's no reason to have gun control, is it.

    • Handguns comprised 72.5 percent of the firearms used in murder and non-negligent manslaughter incidents in 2011; 4.1 percent were with shotguns; 3.8 percent were with rifles; 18.5 percent were with unspecified firearms.
    • 13.3 percent of homicides were done with knives or other cutting instruments.
    • 5.8 percent of homicides were from the use of hands, fists, feet, etc. (source: FBI)
But hey, that was real clever of you, distracting the topic of Benghazi with your attempt at defending guns.

And killing themselves doesn't necessarily mean suicide. A lot are just stupid gun owners like this one.

  7. I happened upon an interesting article that really brings US politics into focus. While this may seem like a partisan issue, it's really just another layer of bipartisan cockup.

    http://freebeacon.com/issues/feds-have-spent-more-on-origami-condoms-fat-lesbian-studies-than-benghazi-committee/

As of this afternoon the Benghazi investigation has cost taxpayer $4,809,266.

Taxpayers have also recently shelled out for other investigations such as:

    • The National Institutes of Health (NIH) gave $2,466,482 to Daniel Resnic to develop three versions of the Origami condom, including the “first of its kind” anal condom.
    • The NIH has also given $3,531,925 to researchers to determine why lesbians are obese and gay men are not. Results have included: gay men have a “greater desire for toned muscles” than straight men, lesbians have low “athletic self-esteem,” and young men think about their muscles.
It's good to know such important stuff is happening with taxpayer money. In reality, a $4M investigation is pretty cheap, so I'm guessing she'll do just fine. We'll see I guess.

She's making most of the GOP questioners look foolish today. They've got nothing.

To be fair, there is at least some health benefits to these.
The origami condom seems like it should stay on better, decreasing unwanted pregnancies due to broken condoms or ones that roll off the penis.
And anal condoms would easily help prevent disease proliferation.

Easily worth more than a political witch hunt!

  10. Oh I agree. I think the witch hunt for Hillary was a bust simply because they spent so little on it. If the budget had been octupled, she'd be in prison now. Not necessarily because she did anything genuinely wrong, but because that much money can turn any innocent person into a convict. For the record, while I am clearly not a fan of the Clintons, I don't give the others any quarter either. I'm not about to suck either party off. They're all crooks and liars. Our problem as Americans these days is to choose the lesser of the liars and crooks.

Just to be clear, I'm not a fan of Hillary either.
But I would rather see her as president than any single Republican that's running for president.
It may be a "lesser of two evils" situation, but she's easily way ahead of the Right.

That being said, Sanders leaves them all so far in the dust he's having trouble with people seeing him clearly.

Shrub and the cons got over 5,000 Americans killed invading Iraq with lies, and wasted $3 trillion dollars. Trump was correct, saying that Shrub should have been impeached....So should the republican congress.

The cons pretending to be concerned about four dead Americans is like saying they're pro-life.

Trey Gowdy. Couldn't drive a toothpick up his ass with a sledgehammer. Covered with a sheen of flop sweat--looking like a "famous banjo player."

Who in hell is in charge of education in this country? Whomever---better pick up the pace on critical thinking skills.
