Yeah, but I don't hold much hope for racists changing their minds.

I've mentioned this before. My ancestors used human machinery in Missouri. My grama told me that "they" treated them so well, that they didn't want to leave when they were freed! Riiiiiiigt. She was a 'soft racist, but a racist. "Treat them well,BUT--don't bring any to the house." My "father was an unrepentant racist. Called them coons. Told me (when I was about 7 or 8--"don't let your stepfather kiss you on the cheek. It will leave a black mark." He was Mexican. So. I've seen this shit since I was a little kid and I knew THEN--that there was something off about them. So, I suppose that's why I react to blatant racists as I do. It's bullshit that doesn't help anything but continued racism.

 

right....no...there is no changing much of anything in the way of people's minds...i agree with that......but I don;t have to tolerate it if it is in my face....and I won't....and I am not afraid to say so either.

 

...which is why I don't like to give them a lot of air time. It just draws more attention to their outdated ideas, which were dismissed by most enlightened people a long time ago.

It's important to respond to them, but not too much, or too often. We don't want to help them look more relevant to the national debate than they are.

Wouldn't it be fun to watch some arrogant racist like "N" get completely destroyed by somebody like Marilyn Mosby in a one-on-one IQ test? I'd buy tickets to that.

I think racism is harboring irrational hate towards any specific group of people. I don't hate anyone, but I also don't clench tightly to fantasies just because they make me feel good. Asians are more K selected than Africans, plain and simple. What you guys are saying is that being K selected isn't superior to being R selected. You're saying intelligence really isn't the most important thing. You're saying those maps don't matter, you're saying rates of violence don't matter.

Dude you'd have to separate all the people who have created this hood culture. There is a serious sense within that community that one shouldn't "act white". Don't talk like them, don't think like them, don't forget about your hood sisters and brothers. They like to fight for pride and fun. They all spank their kids a lot growing up. They learn violence is acceptable, and showing disrespect deserves a beat down. In these people's native land the average native IQ is 70. The hood is a microcosm of Africa. Get rid of the ghetto????
