I dismiss that there is adequate scientific evidence to suggest that transgender is a legitimate medical diagnosis, yes. Once again as I said in the OP if you show me the brain scans showing opposite gender thought patterns in people that have been diagnosed then yes I will hop right on board the train, but i don't think that evidence is there.

People should consider this guy's age. I've seen younger people lose their mind to dementia. That's probably the most cruel aspect of Jenner's story now, that he lost it years ago and others are directing him to this charade in an effort to capitalize on him before he dies. Clearly nobody can talk him into a senior decathlon, so this has weirdly become the next way to score a buck from his aging hide. Maybe he's wanted this all along, or maybe he's so drugged up or addled mentally that he can be manipulated with impunity. Or maybe the political need to destroy the image of a high-achieving athletic white man is more important than his individual dignity. It's far more sad than progressive. What's next?

Neurology is also a fairly new science and how the brain actually "works" is still being mapped. This science is still being developed but is far from definitive.

Your statement as that being affirmation of someone being or not being transgender is not based on a "science" that you are making a case on.

 

If you have to surgically make yourself into a certain gender, you are not that gender at all.

With regard to Bruce Jenner, I think the whole thing is an act, and one in which he is being paid well for. I do not think he (or "it") is really transgender at all.

The entire Kardashian family have proven they will do just about anything for fame and fortune, because "anything" is all they have. They certainly don't have shame.
