Ive befriended 1000s of transpersons over social media.. only a handful of them gave Jenner a second thought and a big ol'wooptido!

I want people to be happy too, but as i mentioned the suicide rates among those who are trans and get the surgery is the same, so if transitioning doesn't solve the underlying problem what's the point other than mutilating your body? I also want people to have the resources they need but I think it's the wrong resources being applied. i think these people need therapy not surgery. Furthermore as much as I'd love to live and let live on this issue it's to the point that trans people want the right to use the opposite bathroom and that affects other peoples lives. Once again, provided these are delusions of gender identity, reinforcing those delusions is even more dangerous than telling the person they aren't real. The line has to get drawn somewhere and this is where i draw mine.

A whole lot of judgement going on by those who do not have to live a life that is one that feels like a mistake to them.

This is why i started the topic, i think we all need to work this out of our systems.

 

Do you dismiss that being transgender is considered to be a medical diagnosis. One that is not made on one visit but rather on years of therapy and that before one can be considered to be eligible for a "change" that they are paying for, they must under go extensive therapy and it is done is stages to ensure that it is the right decision for that person.

That is not a situation in my opinion that most people would subject themselves to unless they were sure that it was the right one for them.
