The illustrious Republicans are about to start a war with Syria, after Russia said they would counter attack any strike on Syria. Israel wants a war with Lebanon, Syria, and Iran. WW3 just might get started by the dipshits in the White House-on John Bolton's first day on the job-so attention could be misdirected from Stormy Daniels and election meddling.

I suspect the nuclear deal with Iran will bite the dust, and Trump will do something dramatic that will be calculated not to be too rough on buddy Putin. He'll be caught between an isolationist base and the Fox-Bolton warmonger faction.

 

Make no mistake about it, Putin is a sonofabitch looking to expand his empire any way he can. The US has no choice but to confront him on such issues, because he has already begun to threaten nuclear war if he doesn't get what he wants. Of course, if you like Putin, then you can write your congressman a letter asking that the US become part of Russia, but the only question in his case is just how suicidal and homicidal he actually is. If the rest of the world did not restrain him as much as they already do, he might have already used nuclear weapons as merely being more convenient. A few neutron bombs, for example, could have killed everyone in Chechnya and allowed the military to just walk in a few days later and the only thing holding him back is he knows damned well that such a move is way... too... far... over the line and we would invade immediately for the sake of our own safety.
