So I went to France and got "Pandor" Absinthe, arranged the ritual and enjoyed, it had a very distinct taste with this lucid feeling around the come up. My military friends' cousin brought down some jugged moonshine ,it tasted corney but not in a bad way,but with a very light, light robust flavor to it. The second time I had moonshine I was at my friends' cousins' moms' house down in Florida and I tried cherry moonshine this was great the cherries themselves have been soaking sooooo long in the shine they were completely drenched in the stuff (imagine a marichino cherry drenched in the best alcohol out there..i guess everyones different but yeah.Good stuff Anyone else have any Moonshine or Absinthe stories?
Well real moonshine or "white lightning" is quite flavorless, and other than the alcohol, any 'high' from Absinth is all in your mind.
The ingredients, I was told that were in the jug I drank some of prior was :corn ,barley, wheat all that mixed, fermented, while being heated up,then processed fully is what I guess I got .
do it wrong and get the wrong fraction, you or someone else could go blind or die...fuck booze anyway
I love absinthe. But as for moonshine, don't think I ever tried it, but I'm guessing it's similar to the swedish shine?
Genuine absinthe is nearly fucking impossible to get here in NZ. It's all fake Czech absinth shit or just coloured & flavoured vodka marketed as absinthe. :cuss: The times I've managed to get some however I've always really enjoyed it. But until I go to France I'll just have to settle with Ricard and other pastis.
