And a Woodstock to bankrupt all who invested !

“The Exceptional One” ! … Wait, I’m not “really” a hippie.

Step - 2
Now you are probably asking;
“How can I be way back dare,
way back “Zen”?
Do I have to grow my hair long again?
Well, its just that E-Z maaaahn,
just go to the thrift, at the Sally Anne,
get some slick threads from a garbage can.
Blue jeans are there ! and BEADS are really then !
Use your psychic powers; chant “Aauummm”
… project “beads” baby, they will come to YOU!
For breakfast eat granola, even if its stale,
and get a Buddha statue, at a hip garage sale.



Step - 3 … E-Z as 1, 2, free
Now you’re almost there ! then ! It’s all about image,
as substance is subjective, elusive, and reclusive,
and its relation to image not always conducive.
Look into a mirror and project who you want to be every morning,
hold that image in your mind as you go about your day.
… Now U R probably thinking;
“What did people do before mirrors”?
Way back there, way back then ?
How could they be hip, kewl, groovy, and Zen?
Before John Lennon, Vladimir, Gandhi, Dali, and Llama,
Before Martin Luther Junior marched through Alabama
Before Jim Morrison, Joni Mitchell, and Dylan,
and most of all before Austin Powers,
when The Children of God were smoking their Flowers?
Could they be here, now? Way back “there - then”?
Do they just revolve around over & over again?
Do they spiral down, into hell
Or Kundalini up, into heaven?
Do The “Doors of Deception” remove all perception?

Step - 4
Now you might be thinking;
“Shouldn’t I start a cult”?
… a groovy Clique, Club Klan,
rent a farm, and start a band?
Cumin straight from the heart,
getting back to the land?
Or live here in this urban garbage can?
Transcend the ego, amigo
With 124 other hip, gruvin people,
their bodies the temple, and I’ll be the steeple!
Finding out past lives, with a Guru -“V”- Master,
a Marsh-Mellow-Maharishi, and transcend all disaster.
Study all religions … you might find it someday,
but don’t ever read the bible, go to church, or pray.
A God who is jealous, and punishes mankind ?
Is he as hypocritical as the hippies are blind?
Should I be metaphysical,
without the “fundamental” aspects of life?
Can I preach against hate,
and make accusations of corruption?
Or will that make me look fake,
and full of presumption?
How do I consolidate my clique,
without an enemy to bash?
How do I maintain my mystique,
Without revealing my stash?


Start a cult,
yeah baby that’s the ticket !
Should we be a little “Leary” of this guy ?

Step - 5
Now you are wondering;
“Will asking the right questions make me “Un-Kool”?
Think of back "there “ back “ then “… that’s the rule!
If the telephone rings, can I answer it?
How can I answer it there, then …
without coming into here & now?
Well that’s just as easy as sleazy,
just “be cool”, hip, and groovy,
answer the phone like this:
“Wow man right on,
the cat you are calling for is gone,
like gone baby, although he’s right here,
well really he’s there, then, should I put him on”?
You need to remember way back when.
You can be there right here, you can be then right now.
Just meditate daily till you transcend the “Tao” !
Get some friends who are there & then,
fill the bowl and light the bong,
put on a film by Cheech & Chong,
crank up the lunar-tunes and
Rock on Johnny … Rock ON!
The revolution revolves, rebellion drags on, & on,
Evolution dissolves, as the temple-knights dawn,
join the crusade, sign up and parade,
I know a game to play, it’s called a “charade” !

Step – 6
Go to a protest, a love-in, a sit-in,
a be-in, a tree-in, a visionary see-in !
Hurry-up, and surry-down,
Be real baby, that’s where it’s at,
Remember; Be like THIS! … Be like THAT!
Be so cool you make 'em all drool,
tune-in, turn-on & drop out of nursery school.
Be real baby, keep it real, that’s the deal,
not fake, phony, farcical, fraudulent, and flakey.
Always tell your brother what to think, do, and feel,
without being condescending,
lest your intentions be revealed
… be Calm, COOL, and collective in perspective.
Don’t attract the HEAT, don’t miss a beat!
Don’t wear shoes don’t wash your feet.
Read a book that shows “The Way”
Study all religions, you might find it someday.
Now U R kewl … not an industrial tool,
Here and now, you can be there then ,
no need to remember way-back-when,
you can be there right here, be then right now,

Get a robe from India, or wear a sarong,
Buy a tie-dye there so you know you belong,
better yet go There ! Then ! … and bring one back,
this is definitive proof U. R. “Right-On”, the right track!
Keep the faith, Brothah, Sistah; Keep the rebellion alive,
or peace and freedom in the world will die.
You are all that keeps the universe together
You are needed to undermine the “Underground-Weather” !
Never see you have all the faults you project onto others,
or that you look fake & phony in the eyes of your brothers.
Now you might wonder, if I am to be there then
Do I leave the toilet seat up or down
If I preach instead of practice will I look like a clown?
“Practice makes perfect”. “Those who can’t DO, teach”.
Is being a hippie like a parasite-leech?
Is being “there - then” a way of avoiding the present
Does criticizing leaders show souls full of resentment?
Does judging the rich, show souls jealous and vain?
in a pretence they’re somehow better, at the game.
Does judgment always backfire on the critical one?
Is that why hippies lost the rebellion
the establishment won?

Isn’t it interesting how “spiritually-enlightened people”
in “sharing” their philosophy and beliefs seem so often to make the hypocrites of themselves which they accuse others of being? The metaphysical camp criticizing
the fundamentalist camp, and vice versa.
Each out of touch with the vital and integral aspects of the other, ridiculing, judging, and condemning each other
[and themselves in the process]. The “New Age” people saying that they “Create” their own reality out of what they project. Then they criticize leaders and the rich
for being corrupt and greedy and ignoring the needy
- [so often themselves] -
But cant the needy just “project” their own abundance ?
They condemn the jealousy they exhibit themselves, and are blind to the message of “their own Beliefs” If they are creating their reality then all the evil they complain about is their own creation. Does this not make them vile and malevolent gods/goddesses who feed on conflict? Metaphysicists ridicule fundamentalists for attempting to EXTERNALIZE Divinity [God] while desperately attempting to EXTERNASLIZE EVIL whilst declaring their own divinity,
in an attempt to convince others that they are better
than the target of their criticism, while preaching that we are all ONE, that we are really all the same, and preaching love and peace. Isn’t this a fools game, whose only purpose is to attain groupies who will follow and believe a lie ?
Can they not see in themselves the same jealousy, greed, corruption, resentment, and contempt which they project onto others ? Can the “enlightened” be so blind ?
Where is the love & understanding both camps preach ?
