I always have to have a bottle of alcohol and a bottle of peroxide on hand.....peroxide is good, too. I sometimes rinse my mouth out with it, too.....

Bathing or not, I believe I accumulate bacteria that are a bit more aggressive than I'd like - that, regardless of the amount or quality of soap used, will have me stinking straight out of the shower.

1 cap full of rubbing alcohol per armpit, and the evolutionary clock is turned back - sweaty or otherwise, it's totally impossible for me to smell for days, and I won't really get offensive for weeks (of normal showering, of course).

It also cures all manner of crotch rot quickly and highly effectively. But holy shit, can it burn.

As far as real deoderant goes, that shit all smells SO strongly... I've had two sticks in my life: axe, which I was ashamed of from the start (not because it inherently smelled bad, just because of the other people who wear axe), and more recently, some arm and hammer. Just a tiny touch from it smells almost offensively like fresh laundry, and yes, if I don't shower, it's still there and functioning 48 hours later. But how do they make money selling this stuff? I eventually threw out the axe just because it was axe, but this stick should last me at least a decade at the rate I'm using it...
