I only have the front half of my hair dreaded. back half is short. if its longer and you want to keep part of it undreaded, you need to comb it...

there is no absolute way to do dreads, so I'll just share with you what I do and offer my reasons. I wash my scalp every 2 or 3 days, clean hair...

I altered mine a bit, I polished up all of the buckles, spikes and studs so they're shiny now instead of brushed. also addes some chains to them.
