Hi. I'm inent on using my new electronic cigarette to smoke pot with. Having trouble getting the formula right and was hoping somebody could help me with this. I have two problems: 1. The liquid that I created just doesn't vaporize good enough, and 2. I used the shake leaves from a very potent plant for my first batch....the THC content is high but it tastes like HELL, so I was wondering if there's some way to get the green taste out of it.

    MY PROCEDURE:
Soaked finely ground shake in 180 proof alcohol and evaporated off the alcohol, leaving me with a tarry dark green substance, which I then dissolved in ethyl glycol until saturated.

The stuff does vaporize in the cigarette but you don't get enough smoke and it never seems to burn off, just kinda sits there. YOu also can't get a very strong hit and so you have to take a lot of hits. I'd love it if I could increase the strength to rock you with one hit. But the glycerin is already saturated, so I can't just increase the ratio. And again, it tastes very green....which if I could do something about the taste this would be an excellent use for shake.

    SO...
    1. Increase vapor
    2. Decrease green taste
    3. Increase potency

    ANY IDEAS?????

    Thanks

Don't let the shake sit, you're mostly getting chrolophil and other plant resins and crap. Look up QWISO, that's what you want to do, if you're set on using that ISO method.

You might look into the models that have a little cup cartridge of pre-packed plant matter. I've known people with those who just repack the cartridges with weed, or hash. The ones of this type I've seen are also bigger and hoter.

You might also look into BHO hash, or some other kind of liquid hash.

Be creative and do what it takes. It's possible, for sure, I've heard of plenty of people accomplishing it.

Also, if it's your thing, it should be easy to create a synthetic cannabiniod preperation, but I would not reccomend it unless you already smoke the synths. Generally bad shit.

QWISO....looks good. But what about a way of getting the clorphil out of my current batch? Not a big deal, I could throw it away and start again....but I've got quite a bit of it!

chop it up as much as possible, for the most surface area possible, and follow the qwiso recipe with it, though maybe with less wash time. Won't save it all. But it should give something. Or you could just smoke it, it's still more concentrated than weed.

You missed the point, which was to get a tincture of THC to evap for use in the appropriate liquid to ionize with his e-cig. sift hash is composed of trichomes and other insoluble junk, he JUST wants solubles.

Having solids from dry hash in the e-cig is not a good idea, if it works how most of them do. You could EVEN ISO dry sift to get the THC out of that, and skip having to quick wash to avoid chrolophil, allowing for a rather full extraction on one or two pulls.
