Why should I trust you ?

I think back on the number of times I have told someone a personal matter without qualifying the statement with, "This is strictly between you and me," or "This goes no further," or "Tell no one under pain of death..." There have been times when I have shared personal observations of others that I have made or simply stories about things in my life. I told a cousin of my graduation from a health program in which I had participated and it got back to me through family with whom I don't speak. At another time I recall wanting to die when one friend asked another, "So Duncan tells me you're a virgin. Is that right?"
These days I find my shares to be scant. Some of the things that I read on the blogs of others I take with a grain of salt. It saddens me because there are times when I would like to know more about someone and the person opts to throw me bones (a one liner or a few words that don't quite make a sentence) yet that same individual will respond to public forum posts about intimate sexual deviance that's not particularly attractive to my way of thinking.
For me, the blogging is self-reflective and often repetitive. The repetition reminds me at times of what was important or significant to me at the moment.
