The CRAIGSLIST Post

I'm not sure when it started, but CRAIGSLIST had gotten rid of its personals posts. You know... m Seeking m, m Seeking f, m and f Seeking f.
Just for/as an aside, as a GWM I never understood the "bi- couple looking for a F". It's a standard. The so-called 'bi-couple' is always the heteronormative male/female dyad. It's never two bisexual women or bisexual men who are looking for a third bisexual person of any gender. (Keep this fresh the next time I try looking for people who can explain to me why so-called straight men like watching girl on girl action whereas most women don't like to watch boy on boy action).
But I digress.
So around the celebration of baby Jesus time, I put a post in the section called MISSED CONNECTIONS. In that section, you either post that you are looking for someone you used to know or hang out with, or you post someone that you were cruising and hope he/she/it/they will read and respond to it here. Of course, you could also make up an imaginary scenario and hope that someone new will pop up and write to you.
Every so often I use it as an opportunity to look for friends. It's amazing how you can tell people what you want and also that you don't want to see pictures of their member or sphincter. Yet, the pictures keep coming. And I also like it when I tell people that words like "DL" are a turn off since I am looking for friends. Do you put your friends in a down low position?
Sometimes I wonder if I do it just so that I can feel the thrill of rejecting someone else for a change![]()
