More Of My Story.

Like I said, when my mother was alive there was no question whether or not I should be driving. It was vital to independence, my welfare and so many other things. That is why my mother insisted on it in 1988 and before. And it was a good way to make sure I didn't have to walk thru the crime-filled neighborhoods of Detroit. Stay out of Detroit she'd tell me that way. But then after she died the discussion began of taking away my car. Obviously for the opposite reasons. People who were opposed to my independence, welfare and all those other things wanted it. I knew that from the start. And my Uncle Al was a strong proponent of that. Uncle Al, the selfish sick man who did horrible things to his son. I was telling my 2022 therapist about this. It just made sense to him for those reasons. Plus he needed revenge now. It was personal, after I used the word explicitly and asked to go to 7-11 once. Of course he knew the sick irony of that, as I told my 2022 therapist. Because if anyone shouldn't have been driving, most people would agree it was him. But we weren't talking about him, we were talking about me. Big difference, it seemed.
