After Many Set Backs...

I am finally making regular trips back to my property after a summer full of situations preventing me from going. When I did get back up there I was happy to see the spring still flowing, albeit a little slower than before. Unfortunately, these last couple of weeks things have changed, it smells heavily of sulfur and has slowed to barely there. I am looking into making a rain catchment system for the time being.

I have a small camper that I am using on the property for longer trips now but with winter coming I'm not sure how it will be trying to stay in it when the temperature drops below freezing.
The backhoe I bought has not been the help I had hoped it would be, right now it is not working and all attempts to fix it have thus far failed.
I have decided to focus on small wins. I have built a small kit shed for some of my tools, I have created a small garden bed out of an old cedar log and planted garlic in it for next year, I have cleared a lot of trees even though there are more that need to come down.

That last one actually has me torn because although I know I need more open space for a larger camper, storage space and gardening space, I love the trees and hate to see them cut down. I am trying to give careful consideration to each one and leave as many as possible.
My ex, who is helping me get the place in order, keeps telling me that I shouldn't be upset by it because I still have acres and acres of other trees but that doesn't change the fact that I am cutting down these trees.
I have a vision in my mind of all this place can be and I know I can make it happen, I just can't give up.
