another view from my deck.. lotsa snow predicted before Christmas.. snow level dropping to 2,500..

      Are you waxing the skis. East coast seems to be getting more snow than the west but you did just get a lot of moisture

      not much snow at 4,000'
      usually snow starts by Thanksgiving..
      this year, we had significant rains in summer thru Sept .. then it stopped..

      looks like storms are lining up again from here to Kamchatka..
      supposedly wet starting Wednesday night..
      whether snow or rain?

      I don't mind some snow, but more than 24" overnight is a pain.. my son plows us out..
      I think my foot might heal by March so I'll get back into gardening, hiking, art..

      hope to meet you two someday..

      BTW: just up the hill near Bunny Flats is where the still-current record for most snow from a single storm system in lower-48 was set in 1958.. 16.5'
