I'm a postgraduate journalism student working on a piece about Valentine's day and the expectations that are associated with it, and I wanted to get everyone's input.
I have a few questions which I've compiled in a Google survey, but feel free to discuss in the forum down below.
I am particularly interested in a recent survey that has shown that almost half of women would rather stay in on Valentine's Day and watch tv, and one-third would like to skip out on sex on Valentine's day. For many, Valentine's day has become a dreaded holiday because of the pressures and expectations associated with it.
I am keen to hear what you guys think about this, whether you find that you are under pressure to go out and do things because it's become the norm, or that you need to get ready, be sexy, have new lingerie or have better sex than any other day because it's Valentine's day.
You can find the Google survey here: https://docs.google....4J-HEw/viewform
Thank you for taking the time!
