hello community

I am new here - but I was with the first "Hippies", who brought the Love Parade

from Goa to Berlin - I am 60 Years old now

I have the Desire to trade precious Wood from Forestries

in my Opinion, it is a fascinating Meterial - it is worthfull - and it is a beautifull natural Resource

I looking for Hippies around the World, who are interested in dealing and trading

this Material - maybe we can build up an interresting Income by Time

I will give you some Examples:

in Thailand, there are plenty of Rubber Trees - once this Trees are in "Age" and do not anymore

provide the raw Material, they will be cutted down to make Place for new Rubber Trees

Rubber Wood is a very durable Wood - so I could imagin to trade Rubber Wood from Thailand

to other Countries

Where are you living ? anw hat Kind of precious Wood from Forestry you could get your Hand on?

What are the Prizes and what Kind of precious Wood in your Place?

Let´s communicate

Cheers

i think it's illegal to move wood out of the county here, to prevent the spread of invasive insects.

I think certain countries require treated or aged wood, to avoid the spread of pests (see sudden oak disease), protection of rare woods, and I believe there's a ghastly amount of paperwork involved.
I've been held at borders while guitars built in 1920 were checked for wood source.
(this rarely goes well)

I'd be interested in hearing the full story of when your guitar was inspected.

I travel with musicians (I work tech) crossing US/Canada border.
Canada is more rigorous on CITES, etc.
