I have been waiting for this movie for a while and i finally saw it the other day... it was superb. I've read the book and yes they did take a few liberties with the story but still it was great! excellent cast, excellent director (i have not seen a bad Fincher movie) and awesome soundtrack. The whole story happened around the area i live in and in fact he may have killed some people who went to the same junior college i go to. If you are intrested in this i HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE. JOn
I really loved it too, but those with short attention spans should be warned that the film is long & liesurely. I was never bored; in fact I was fascinated by the incredible, minute attention to detail. But I don't know that this is the movie for everyone.

Actually, zodiac runs two hours forty minutes. That's a long time for some people. It went plenty fast for me too, but not everyone is going to agree.
i saw it as well. at first i was weary about it being 2 hours and 40 minutes, however like you have stated, it went by fast and they did have a lot to cover too. but i was interested throughout the movie and i saw it real late too. overall i think if anybody had an inkling for any serial killer or just interested in any sort of weird obsession like graysmith had, definitely go see it. great cast. =)
