    Throw some paragraphs in there.

Edit: changed spelling from 'through' to 'throw'. Usually I stealthily, but ethically edit, but I was quoted, so I'm already outed.

100% agree, this is exactly what i feel on acid

it's half the reason it's so intense . . . you probably didn't even KNOW about the man behind the curtain before you took it :0

Pretty interesting, but I don't see LSD as "exposing a lie" as so many people seem to. The way people live has never been particularly mystifying to me. I recoil from people like the poster above quoted who demonize "society" as being the cause of so much BS and evil. What is society made of? People. I am one of those people, and so are you. We are all flawed, and we are all on the path towards greater knowledge, wisdom, peace, and joy, whether in this lifetime or the next. If everyone in "society" were perfectly enlightened, there wouldn't be much point to life, because there would be nowhere to go, no progress to be made.

I don't disagree with the general premise of the post, but it seems to take a typical LSD-worshiping "let LSD open your eyes to the lie and be freed!" kind of approach, which I think is misguided. I need to write a huge paper or I would write more. Maybe I will revisit this thread later.

The minute I saw the title of this thread I thought, "I bet the first post is going to be really long and not have any paragraph breaks."

I stopped puzzling over my obsessive impulses geared towards sensationalizing my presence within the human race and turned my psychedelic thoughts to the stars when I was like 16. Eventually, you realize that this isnt profound and is in fact how reality is and that it is you who has the problem.
The only problem with that, is most of us have not learned humility and cling to superficial values, claiming otherwise.
Being free is in the mind, but being free means nothing if you attempt to rationalize and make sense out of your freedom. Because............the wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round! round and round! Even babys know that.

    ^^ haha! *relayer

I like this (long paragraph) because it's actually quite well-written, and that's a problem sometimes when it comes to putting the universal realization into text. It's stating the obvious in a very verbose way, but it's understandable and not garbled in little circles like so much LSD-inspired writing is.

I'd say it's possible that the author is a very smart person, eloquent and profound. It's likely! It's artistic to take an everyday or universal event and expound on the idea in such a way that people relate to it and say "oh my goodness i feel the same way, its like you KNOW ME"

:) I dig it. You can come up with some very philosophical stuff when your grokked. I have a whole notebook filled with clever writings, I add to it everytime I trip! I really do encourage people to do the same... It really can open your eyes to what's been sitting right in front of you all along.

  16. I like it, but although it is a well written paragraph and does explain the experience pretty well, Relayer is right.
