Fuck i remember leaving a friends and heading home in the direction i used 100 times, after 5 mins i though i was lost then came to some traffic cones FS now they were wild..this row or red with flashing lights on top....it was crazy...and that was me waiting till the trip was near over. Night times worse....but as long as your not peaking on the trip drivings not advisable but do-able.
Driving at night, in the rain, while tripping....... Just don't look at the reflections in the water on the road. 'nuf said

I think attempting to drive while even mildly tripping is quite possibly the dumbest thing you can even do on mushrooms. We mushroom users and growers fly under the radar most of the time and don't need the bad press as most of us are not fucktards.
i over shot a whole town by 100 kilometers while really high on acid back in the 80s...it was like a video game ...as long as i stayed in my lane i knew i was ok but i dared not look at any signs ...i was supposed to be delivering tax info on the last night of taxes before the deadline...the dude waiting was none too pleased
I've driven on very light trips and while coming off of trips. I probably couldn't do it now because I don't trip nearly as often as when I was younger.
Yeah screw driving on shrooms, i get far too confused to do simple tasks like finding my wallet or having a basic conversation let alone attempting to drive a car! Saying that i was still slightly tripping on acid when i was driving home from a bush doof last weekend, i thought i had timed it all out properly but the acid was still going 16 hours after i ate it..... I have a funny feeling it was not LSD.
It was 100% not LSD if it was still going strong at 16 hours. I have never driven while significantly intoxicated on a psychedelic and I don't ever plan to. I think it's very stupid.
Yeah my guess would be some sort of DOx the tab did have a very strong taste to it which was unusual compared to most LSD tabs ive had....
I drove home from a Rush concert still tripping listening to The Fountain Of Lamneth...everything was changing colors and I was flying down the road, it was incredible. My mind was racing like mad and my reactions were lightning fast. It was like a video game. Another time was in the day, in the spring the windows were down, the wind sounded so weird. At the end of this one road there is a marina and I stopped there and kept hearing this sizzling sound. It freaked me out and sure enough water was running onto the manifold....fuck, fuck, fuck. Damn. LOL I fucking just laughed my ass off at it and the sound it was making.
I driven home after seeing Infected mushroom at a downtown city location on 2 grams of shrooms. Definitely was tripping but not too bad, wouldn't recommend it.
I drove home from an IM show while coming down off san pedro, I also would not recommend it. In general most people get busted while in the car for whatever reason, so you should avoid it when fucked up. I am older and wiser now I guess.
We had to move our car or it would be towed in the middle of state forest, so I drove it through the campground while I was peaking. It was amazingly fun, but I was also only doing 15 miles per hour in an empty campground. I'm definitely not high-way material. No real driving for me.
I have not driven while tripping and I would never do it, but I was tripping in the car once while my friend who was also tripping attempted to drive us around. I still have no clue how he was doing it. There were lights EVERYWHERE and we kept passing cops with their flashing blue lights overwhelming everything. The lights didn't seem to bother my friend so maybe he wasn't having strong visuals like I was, but both of us were in a very familiar place and had no clue where we were going. We kept passing the road we were looking for and our minds could not wrap around the fact that that was where we needed to go. I don't recommend driving while tripping to anyone. Its dangerous to other drivers. I still regret riding with my friend that night.
never on shrooms lol, but once about 7-8 hours after dosing lsd. i kind of got "kicked out" so i didnt prefer to drive but i did, i just cranked up the reggae and opened all the windows. it was cool tho, since it was early in the a m and there wasnt anyone on the road..
I drove home which was like 3 miles from my buddies house peaking on shrooms cuz for some reason i hate staying in one place on shrooms it was definately super wierd the sky and everything was disconnected from me hard to explain but i was fine driving made it home lol
Yeah but that is the time when cops are just hiding and waiting. They assume anyone on the road at that hour has a good chance of being high/drunk/tired, any of the three giving them reason to pull you over.
There is no time to drive without risk. There is no time you drive on psychedelics or other drugs without a raised level of risk. These risks are getting in an accident or getting caught by the police. Sometimes the need to drive somewhere might outweigh the risks. For example, about 6-8 hours into an acid trip my friend told me I had to leave because his family was coming over. I went to the mall for a little while, spending time eating in the food court and sitting in the bathroom stall, but the mall closed early as it was a sunday. This was a particularly cold canadian winter day with much blizzarding weather. This was a difficult time to drive normally, especially in my little RWD BMW, but it was very cold out. I tried to sit in my car with it just running with heat on, but I was paranoid that it would look weird that a guy was sitting in his car for a long time and his was the only car in the lot. I decided that the visuals were getting fairly mild and I was used to the effects, so I drove home. I'm not going to say this was a great thing to do and I am not going to say it was easy to drive home that sunday evening, but I feel stronger afterwards and I got home perfectly. It was a particularly long half hour drive home down the snowy highway. EDIT: unfocusedanakin I think your sig in this situation is pretty ironic
