During a dreaded trip to Home Depot Sunday morning for a couple of items that I needed to complete a few honey-doo's, I saw the most amazing thing in the checkout line!!! They had one of those chip-clip racks filled with little packs of LADY BUGS !! If you have plants, flowers or a garden... you should get some soon !! www.ladiesinred.com
I just killed the last of the lady bugs that infested my house this year. I don't want to see another one for years to come
i guess you gotta experience life in the desert for a while before you appreciate the little forms of life... that are not very common or easy to find out here. anyway... I like em!!
No doubt. I don't wanna see another lady bug ever. There are hundreds,if not thousands, that come into the house. Thanks to the govt.
there are ladybugs, and then there are the japanese ladybugs that have infested north america, the ones that are lighter orange color and are a little bigger.
mine were ladybugs. I've seen the japenese ones, they were here too, but not nearly as many of them as just plain old regular ladybugs. I've never had them here before, until this year.
my old house was swarming with the japanese ones, the whole front of the house was covered every day for 3 months
my cat used to eat them..... i would hear it crunching on ladybug shells in the middle of the night....
"my cat used to eat them..... i would hear it crunching on ladybug shells in the middle of the night...." Aww.. Our dog hates how they taste.. she'd always lick them off the floor, then spit them back out.
Well of course they don't make them go into the house. I researched it because these bugs were everywhere....and apparently, the govt. had dropped them from planes,to feed wild turkey but they had dropped far too many. That's what I read anyways....it could have been wrong and maybe the govt. didn't have anything to do with it at all.
Tastes like chicken? I like ladybugs. I don't mind them in the house, either. I have a veggie garden and they help as well as those huge black and yellow garden spiders......they keep the pests in line.. What I hate are spiders in the house.....we have an unwritten agreement....if I don't see them, they get to live.
ladybugs bite ya actually and why the hell would they package and sell ladybugs. there is something horribly wrong with that
