This is the second consecutive time.

Three weeks ago I won this dude 1600 off of two midnights in craps, dude didn't bless me with SHIT, other people on the table were yellin @ this dude like 'you can't throw the kid a chip?'

I didn't even care because I was bankin anyway..

so again tonight I win this dude 2400 off of straight up 3 6's in a row, and then a midnight.. this moron didn't give me SHIT, not only that, when he rolled, I lost 40 on his roll alone

People who don't follow casino ettiquette are fuckin homos.

I mean shit there's no strict rule of ethic about it, but come on, if you're winnin THAT much fuckin money off of one person, who's winnin like 70 dollars and shit, you can ATLEAST throw dude a fuckin 20 or a 50 or somethin

    that's fucking corny yo.

So when you are 'winning' all their money from them, do you give some back?

not everyone knows casino etiquette. it's not like we emerge from the womb with "casino etiquette" hardwired in our brains. and red makes a great point.

To be honest, I don't have a clue about casinos and but if it had been me who won all that dough I woulda probably thrown you a fifty. But I don't think that a croupier or dealer or whoever should EXPECT tips.

I think he means he rolls the dice and the other patrons benefit from his rolls.

and I see where you're coming from. if you're winning that kind of money off someone else, especially if you're losing on your own rolls, it would make sense to toss some chips over.

Ah, so he doesn't work there. That's sorta different. I know so little about casinos.

I still stand by my first point though.

well, if you're only playing low bets yourself you wouldn't really tip someone playing higher bets, maybe buy them a drink and thank them if their rolls win.

it's a judgement call depending on the person who rolls the dice, and not a percentage system, I'd say :)

Ummm... Why does he owe you anything? You rolled some dice. Im no gambler, but to me it seems, unless you actually do somthing that requires any sort of skill, not luck to help them win, then they dont own you shit.

Probably because even though he won 2400, hes probably lost 5,000.

My uncle has admitted to spending 80,000 a year at casinos and he wins maybe 2-3000 twice a year maybe, and a few vacations to the domincan.

Then he should've been doubly grateful for getting back half of his losses through somebody elses efforts.

Also, to whoever made the luck comment, craps isn't even close to being all about luck. I know people who can call their roll 4-5 times out of 10 and while that doesn't indicate the game being tied to skill, even the 5-6 times they call their roll wrong, generally only one of those is a crap out.

Hell blackjack can be more about luck than craps depending on the person and the people around you.
