Let's hope #19 isn't cursed. "When pot legalization was on the ballot in 1972, it was also Proposition 19."

thousands of other have this same dream.. it already cost a shit load to live here... i doubt that a mass movement of people moving IN to california will make that go down. bring a job with you if you do move here.

Heh. "Why do all the hippies want to move from Oregon to Cali? 'Cause there's no jobs in Cali, either, AND Cali has legal pot."

usually i'd laugh at this.. but we are pondering a move and if we do we will most likely need some people that want to rent rooms.. mind you it will sort of be like living with your parents... no wild parties and no having tons of people over all the time.

I've had similar desires to move to California if the bill passess. I've been arrested 4 times and incarcerated twice for marijuana here in Maryland (im 23) and I find it absolutely ridiculous. But am not sure abou the job situation or living arrangements, waht part of cali to live at, etc. I wouldnt want to wind up just another bum on hollywood blvd who never stood a chance ya know..

    Think before you act

Sorry weedshooter, everyone has their own agenda based on their own greed imo. But I as a human being have been incarcerated numerous times for have a flower in my posession, a simple flower from the marijuana plant. This proposition allows me to smoke marijuana in my home without fear of the police breaking down my door AGAIN and throwing me in a cage.

    This has my full support.

i'm hearing nothing but positive things about it being legalized from marijuana support groups. (norml, MMP etc... )

just like when alcohol was illegal... do we only have shitty big factory beers? no.. there is a very wide variety of all sorts of alcohols to chose from. and small brewers are in demand and do make a profit. same thing may happen with marijuana but it's ridiculous to keep it illegal for fear of big business.

supply and demand.. once it's legal.. VOTE again with your dollars!

weedshooter, very very interesting. thank u for that. i'm rethinking things because i didn't have the info materials to think otherwise.

but i don't see how it'll get rid of medical marijuana. at all. marijuana would still have it's medicinal value to it, so either the doctor tells you to go to the store and buy some kind of weed, or if we still have (or eventually have) farmacies.
but ill look more into these articles you talk about.

I'm wondering if it would be possible for someone to post evidence that disputes what weedshooter wrote. Out of curiousity I was wondering if what they wrote had any truth to it, or if there is material which would prove them wrong.
