Xanax: Sniffing

Wanted to share a new pleasant experience. I got a couple Xanax pills for my friend and I last night. I forget the mg of it, but I've taken it a handful of other occasions and felt a little relaxed and pleasant...but my friend suggested we crush it and sniff it. He said it will kick in faster (and it was already pretty late).
We did so...and the experience was so much better and more intense than the times I've swallowed. It felt amazing, but def put me on my ass. We ended up crashing fairly soon after. It was a nice feeling and I would def recommend sniffing. Anyone else have a good experience like this?

 

The only times I've ever snorted xanax, I was already fukt up as shit from eating them, so I'm not really sure how different it is, as far as the effects go. The drainage is fuckin nasty as fuck though, which is the main reason I don't snort them. They're almost too nasty to keep them in my mouth long enough to swallow them. lol Totally worth it though

 

yeah i snort it when i only have a low mg pill, and when i did it, it went up my nose quite nicely, not much drip

 

Snorting benzos is stupid.. you get more bang for your buck by chewing them up or letting them dissolve under your tongue

 

Xanax is 95% absorbed orally, I'd say the effects came from it being crushed up and then dripping down the back of your throat. It will work just as fast (and be better) to dissolve under your tongue or chewing, or putting the powder in something to drink.

 

what the last two intelligent posters said. if you snort xanax, you're an idiot, and have done no research whatsoever on the bioavaliabilities and whatnot.

Yep. I agree with crushing the powder and swallowing or trying to allow some to absorb sublingually.

You don't want to snort crushed up pills. There are water insoluble binders and fillers that will end up being inhaled into your lungs when you snort. It's a good idea to keep that kind of stuff out of your lungs.

 

Next time just chew them up.

I could chew Xanax if they're the little pills. But chewing a bar, no way.

Or maybe I could. I've chewed Darvocets and I don't think it gets worse than that.

 

Of course it doesn't get worse than chewing darvocet, because that's a total waste of time. Darvocet is useless.

Well I meant the taste. I have a relatively low tolerance to pills since I mostly smoke weed. Darvocets still give me a buzz.

 

Kpins really dont have any flavor.. i think of it as a flavorless smartie.. though there are Clonotril an India brand clonazepam thats yellow and tastes like bananas.. aka bananakins

 

Yo I hope your not chewing your subs man, you should either snort them ( which I prefer) or let it rest under your tongue.

Chewing up pills has never really tasted that bad to me, thats how I always take my pills, I just need some water with it and I'm fine.

 

Valiums taste fine when chewed, but they're pretty worthless too, so I don't see the point. lol

I've never chewed klonopins, as I've only tried them one time and wasn't impressed at all, so i never tried them again.

Xanax kicks ass, but I can't chew them because they taste like a mold-encrusted turd. lol
