wow, and i always thought the gateway theory was bullshit

i got a friend, he posts here, im not saying who. he smoked weed, weed got boring for him, he did shrooms, got bored, did E, lost his E hookup when he moved, smoked weed and got bored again, tried coke, and now he is doing crack! goddamn!

dont you hate it when people you would never think would do ti, move onto harder drugs and shit.

he recently failed a piss test and his parents werent even mad!! he didnt get in trouble and shit but i know his parents very well and his dad would choke the shit out of him if he knew his son was doing crack! FUCK!

 

damn. i know someone whos done crack. hes also retarded, and looks like a crackhead too.

i dont think the gateway theory applies to shrooms. some people just want to try other stuff to see what its like.

 

maybe but yeah he has always been the one in the group to say naw man lets just get some weed if we had something else offered now he smokes crack. he is trying to get my two other friends to try that shit this weekend too.

the gateway thing is quite real.

Some people get bored with weed, and others are just curious, but once you're a drug consumer you're in a position to get alot of hard drugs. I've had the oppurtunity to do e, coke, and crak, but I'm strictly a weed guy, with the exception of the occasional drink.

 

i would never ever ever turn down a chance to smoke. shrooms too, i sitll ahev to do those. i dont drink very often but this weekend i have to get wasted, but even then, im going to be choosing the weed over the alcohol i know it.

that's sad man. one thing i noticed when i started doing drugs, is that when you hang with "those" people, it gets painful to watch sometimes. you see people deteriorate, you see people get arrested, and sometimes even worse. i pretty much stick with the weed; with a few exceptions, and a few other things i'd like to try, but nothing hardcore like crack. you should tell your friend how you really feel about what he's doing to himself. don't let him do this without letting him know how you feel; then afterwards if he wants to wrap himself up in denial, i hate to say it, but there's probably no stopping him now.

The only reason weed is a gateway drug is cause its the easiest drug to get. Its the persons choice whether they want to do harder drugs or not. It not like the weed "made" them do it. I sick of people using weed as a scapegoat and over looking the fact that its just plain stupidity. I know plenty of kids that smoke alot more than me but won't touch any other drugs.

 

weed just opens peoples mind to other things and thats why they want to experience other drugs.

sheebs-you make a valid point but you come off sounding a little pissed at me. weed isnt a gateway drug for me, i drank smoked cigs, and tried E before i ever smoked weed and now all i do is smoke weed. but it was a gateway drug for my friend. its all based on maturity, i was mature enough not to let it lead me into other drugs, he wasnt.

gateway is bullshit, you could say cigarettes is a gateway drug cause most drug users first use cigarettes. or you can always say chocolate is a gateway substance cause most drug users ate chocolate before picking up a needle or a stem.

 

this russian guy i know said when he lived in russia you could buy cigarettes at any age and that he remembered someone asking him to buy them. Weird.
