Be blind of deaf?
And explain.

I for one would rather be deaf as seeing is (in my opinion) better than hearing. Sometimes I think it would be nice to be deaf, though that is usually just when I am with obnoxious people...
But without music.... life would'nt be as interesting.
But still, sight over hearing in my opinion.

 

Seams to be a trend, I'm goign to have to say deaf.

yeah def me too. id rather not hear than not see, there will still be ways to communicate and theres too much beuty in the world to be missed. each are horrible things, but the worst would be both, imagine trying to live while blind and death??? i dunno, a good question too would be whether rather born with it or getting later in life, imagine not knowing what colours looked like, the sun, the sky- even what you looked like. or imagine never knowing what music sounds like, or birds singing early in the morning, oe imAGine losing it, it would destroy your will to live- this really is what many people have to go through

 

I'd be deaf because I my sight would become more enhanced nad over time I think I would see some cool stuff , no one ells could.

I would way rather be blind than deaf. Being blind makes you non-judgemental. So no matter what they look like you try and not to discriminate. It would be a very grounded method of meeting people, I think. But I just could NEVER be deaf. Music is my life. Sound is my biggest trip and mindfuck.

Without hearing there would be no music. There would be no conversation. You could never hear someone tell you they loved you. Never hear your children's voices. Never talk on the phone. Never hear yourself speak.

my mind is telling me that id rather be deaf, but somebody earlier in the thread said without sight you would not be nearly as judgemental, and you would "see" the world diffrently. So my mind says rather be deaf, my heart says rather be blind. personally, i hope for neither.

 

Music = Life.. no fuckin way i could be deaf.. i would probably kill myself..

 

/\ but you could still see and live, when you people say that you would kill yourselves if you were death or blind, i take it that you people dont put much value on life, life is a gift, and once you die , its over, and if your deaf, you can still think to yourself, learn sign language, yeah you wont have music, and that sucks, but music is just a part of life, you can definitely live without it, just saying, life can go on without sight or hearing, it would suck, but you only live once man
