...front of you is a billionaire effect the way you treat them either negatively or positively assuming you had no other background to go on?

would you think it impressive or maybe hold it against them?

would it excite you or anger you or do you think it would be no big deal?

or would your first instinct be how do i get ME some cash!

I think that anyone would naturally be filled with awe, no matter what. Sadly enough, no matter how much we try to escape it, this society has brainwashed the worth of money into our heads. We are somewhat conditioned to look up to people with a whole lotta money, or at least to envy them and be like them.

Would I act differently if the person was a billionaire? I would love to say "No", but the honest answer would be "yes", at least in some way. I've met many millionaires, going to a rich kid high school, and meeting the kid's parents... and I've usually just acted like myself... but well, in a much more well-mannered fashion.

No. Unless he flaunted it in my face. In which case I'd give him a beat down.

i'm thinking about this cuz ya like buddy mentioned we ARE conditioned to believe better of people who are wealthy and as such how can we ever expect said rich people to ever volountarily support a classless world and it's hard to deny that rich people have nearly all the influence over weak minds and until the rich choose to be compassionate it's not likely there will ever be peaceful change in this world and the odds of rich people suddenly being compassionate are obviously slim to none and the rich are apparently satisfied with their artifical superiority over the majority who do buy into their manufactured greatness and SO ya we HAVE to simply stop seeing wealth as a respected "characteristic" and furthermore we should ALL make ANYONE who has far more stored than they will EVER need feel so unwelcome in OUR world that they will be shredding money instead of incriminating evidence of their exploitations!

    ya:)

the only millionaires that i've dealt with (as far as i know) are my two most recent bosses. obviously i'm very polite to them, but not because of their money (at least not directly). never met a billionaire, but i think that the way i act around people depends more on how they act then their money. for example, i'd be polite to most rich people because they tend to be more educated and value that sort of thing, but if i was talking to snoop dogg i'd probably act a lot different

I try to be nice to almost everyone, on the off chance that they might be someone who can give me a societal boost.

nope. just depends on how they acted. i'd just be a hell of a lot more paranoid of how they might be able to screw me over if they took a notion to do so. which would motivate me to keep my contact with them extremely polite. and minimal.

unless i already knew them really really well. knew they were not subject to rash emotional reactions. and what they did and did not share my views on.

To be honest i'd probably judge on looks, body language, facial expression, depending on what kinda person they seem to be I'd take a different course of action,
I probably wouldn't talk to em anyway cos well being a billionaire most likely clever, older, more experienced which all leads to patronising and that jus really, really, pisses me off!! If they're on their own i'd be mor likely to talk to em then if they weren't.

and yea i know "never judge a book by its cover" its jus really hard not to...

I may hold it against them as alot of succesful ppl (school wise) turn out to be jerks,

That has to be the 3rd longest sentence that I almost read.

Topic at hand......I dunno, I've never met a billionaire. I've been around a few millionaires and I acted the same way I would have acted if they were thousandaires.

Well, yes... most of you people are bullshitting.

Think about it... Billionaire... there ain't many... and they are all celebrities (other than a few Arab guys, but you wouldn't ever get to meet those, being filthy Americans.)

I have been around some gazillionairs, so a mere billionaire does not excite me anymore.

I would only be in awe of a person
sutitable to be a guru, but not really
amazed, more like euphoric I guess.

Well, actually yea, if Steve Howe
talked to me, I might get a little
    star struck.
    But anyone else? no way

You see, I'm not talking about being amazed, I'm talking about feeling something.

No one can claim, and I do mean NO ONE that they will not feel something different when meeting a celebrity... whether they like it or not.

i've known quite a few ludicrously wealthy people. makes no difference. maybe i'm just inured to it, through long associations. but their spoiled bitch children make me wanna kill.
