yes. they have feelings and emotions too. are you talking about like a whole society of them living and working up there, or just shooting them into the vacuum of space?
Well, it might be just me, but i think it would be exciting to get to explore deep space during your last days instead of being shackled down here on earth for the rest of your life.
whats inhumane is mitt romneys new proposal to bring back the death penalty to MA which would make prisioners serving a life sentence without the chance of parole eligible for the death penalty, even though they have already served part of their sentence
well the death penalty is inhuman, obviously. But by sending life-prisoners into outterspace, we could clear out prisons, spend less tax dollars, and maybe learn some stuff about space. =D
There has to be an alternative to death penalty and imprisonment. I think about it like, there are a few humans who take it upon themselves to deal out order to the rest of the human beings on earth. They dont deserve this power, but they have it. One human chaining up and locking away another human being does not make sense. What gives on human being the right to determine the rest of the life of another human being? Then i think, we cant have these kinds of murderous people running around society posing threats, so then im at a predicament. There has to be an alternative to wasting someones ONLY life on this earth by locking them away forever.
The prisoners wouldnt do any valuable research.. what do they have to gain? certainly not their freedom. They might even produce false research. that would only set us back.
theres millions of fools locked up for essentialy bullshit , in the u s a . its even more inhumane to lock em up than ta shoots em . the state has no rite to judge and punish folks.....lets smash the state and open its dungeons!
I honestly have no opinion on the death penalty. But I'm curious to know why some people think it is so wrong... Say there is conclusive evidence that a man raped and brutally murdered a child, would it really matter if the world is short a man like that?
Yes. Who is to decide whether the man deserves his life or not? It is his only life he will ever live on this earth, and someone else sees themself fit to end it.
we could save up till we get like hundreds of prisoners who are willing to go. Then we could build them a nice great big spaceship and send them on their way.
We live in a society like it or not. People affect other people. That little boy only had one life on this earth too, but alas too bad for him. Someone else took it as they saw fit.
with absolutly no government or laws people like that would be not living long and prospering .....legal systems breed , foster and protect preditors n paricites....
Liver Steam, thats why there has to be another way. He didnt have the right to take the childs life, but we dont have to right to end his life in turn. We dont just do it in revenge. There has to be some other form of justice. Maybe it wouldnt be justice; just another solution.
