How about a rally where cannabis isnt legalized?? Besides, I dont have anything pleasant to say about the state of Colorado and all the spoiled brats that live there..
This rally supposedly may determine the fate of Marijuana in the state of Colorado, and AROUND THE WORLD. So get your head out of your ass.
There is a point about the fact that Denver basically has small amounts of mj as its lowest priority, after, say, jaywalking and RTD fare evasion (they are serious about fare evasion) and a big rally being held there. Especially one with permits and the like. Holding it in Colorado Springs would be a bit more provocative. The event is usually fun for an hour or so, and same old same old by the end of the day. Painted at a couple in previous years. But with legalization on the state ballot again....register to vote if you live in Colorado.
The one you went to was nothing. At that time the good one was in Boulder. They're trying to make it a HUGE thing over the next 4 years in Denver.
if you believe that this rally is going to make a difference, i think you're the one who needs to get his head out of his ass my friend. it might be a good time and a way to show that a large gathering of 'drug users' are not violent and dangerous, but i highly doubt that it will have any impact.
Lol I'm not the one that said that. I did post that here, but someone that knows more than me is the one who actually said that. Here: http://www.coloradomedicalmarijuanapatient.com/forum/showthread.php/4129-Worlds-Largest-4-20-Rally!!
This looks like a good one, but I'd like to see a Million Toker March on the steps of Congress. These garbage laws have to be changed in DC. And we deserve an apology for all the years of lies and stolen civil and human rights. Wish I could make it to the rally though.
If I wasn't broke and lived in bumfuck Georgia, I would make it. It's a great cause, hope it yields some results.
Are you trying to be obnoxious, or are you just really excited? I'm hoping the latter. Since you don't know which rallies I attended, or covered, or helped organize, we will pretend you didn't pass judgment on what you don't know. Colorado is a purple land, meaning the place can be liberal on one issue and conservative on another. With legalization on the ballot, you should have some excitement. But expect backlash and be smart. Denver PD loves those rallies for creating watch lists and for arrests. See, even though it is low priority for the city, the individual officer can arrest and use STATE law to do so.
It doesn't matter if I know what rallies you have been to. They announced that they are making THE NEXT FOUR YEARS, INCLUDING THIS ONE bigger than ever. So there will be MORE people, than at ANY rally in Colorado EVER, no matter what one you went to. Unless you went into the future. And yes. I'm excited.
Bigger isn't better. You presumed to know my involvement. And made a judgement call. And I say it was wrong.
I never said I knew your involvement, or made a judgement. I just said this one is going to be bigger than the one you went to. No matter what one, or when it was.
I actually hope not. There seems to be a tipping point for Denver PD. Once they hit it, the guns and cuffs come out. With DNC and Occupy in recent years, they have proved they will step on First Amendment rights. It was one of the few things I truly disliked about Denver. Granted, they are far, far better than Oakland PD, so maybe I should give Denver a break. But, about the rally, I wish all the best for everyone involved.
