World-Shattering Experiences

Today was an epic day...

I've been eating a pretty heavy amount of dose lately, a couple weeks ago i came down from a straight out binge... However, Ive managed to keep it down to once a weekend for the past couple weeks...Unfortunatly, I've found that my trips began to loose the epic sense of adventure that was so prominent throughout the early trips in my early teens..and even a few months ago when I wasnt tripping so often. The best way I can describe it is almost as if one were "hollow tripping". So to make sure as a celebration for 4/20 that a regained this sense of adventure i ate 6 doses of sparkling, delicious white fluff...a gormet treat indeed. What I got in return was one of the most awe-inspiring, world shattering, striaght up bonkers trips of my life.

I dont know what it was really...because ive definatly tripped harder in my day (and i was spinnin' somethin fierce)...set and setting probably had alot to do with it...I was by myself for the most part throught the entirety of the trip. Everything I thought I knew about myself up until this point got completely shattered...literally..

I was staring at myself in the mirror, and amidst all the colors, lights and craziness of my neurons being electrified i caught a visual of the mirror shattering, and the reflection of my face spilt at several different points. What followed was the most intense periods of self-reflection, soul searching, whatever you wanna call it that ive ever experienced. I quit literally lost all connection with who I was (I dont mean my name or anything like that, i mean on a deeper, more spirutual level). My entire sense of self fell apart before my eyes, and I was left to pick up the peices alone, in the a rather fragile state and "find myself" ...i know that sounds cliche and what not...it was absolutley insane...I was close to loosin it though out this whole thing but I held on and made way through, and I can honestly say I'm a much better man for it.

Im sitting here now 10 hours later trying to think of words to explain all this but they all seem to fall short of the mark, I hope my detail provided you with some explination to my experience but to be totally honest, its not something the english language will ever be able to explain, even to one with extreme linguistic skills. lol

so there it is, my world shattering experience, feel free to post with any of your awe inspiring, ego stripping ninja kicks to the soul...Im eager to read about anyone elses experience if they are anything close to the level of what ive just experienced...be sase, happy trails...

thats truely an amazing experience man. it makes me happy in a way, just inspriring to hear the wonders of lsd. id trade all the drugs in the world for a sheet of acid.

 

yea, ive had similar experienced that completely changed the way I view situations. Ill post something up later but it would be cool if everyone posted any really intense experiences like this.
Also, does anyone else really enjoy writing while tripping? Like terrence mckenna sort of stuff I guess. Just sort of writing down your opinions on things?

 

I love writing while tripping...takes some time usually, as the english language is reduced to a random colection of symbols and sounds to me hhahaha...

PsychMyke, I've been reading your posts in the LSD forum, and you are spot on with everything. You really have an understanding of LSD, and I think it's FUCKING awesome! That trip sounds almost like my first trip. It seems, with LSD, that you can unlock your mind... the left brain melds with the right, and you can explore it over and over again until the trip is over.

If i go to long without tripping i start to loose my sense of self, LSD has saved my life many times...it keeps me centered...some of my friends dont like to rip alot because they say they dwell on the negative aspects of their life too much...well i do too, but it helps me to understand the faults about my life and helps me brainstorm conclusions as to how to put myself on the correct path...LSD is truely the wonder drug IMO..

Im getting annoyed with these forums though to be honest with you man, some people on here are so fucking douchey and ignorant...alot of people are cool, but some members dont know shit, and they think because they have 500+ posts that they can talk shit and insult people for know reason, and spit facts that are just plain false...im thinkin bout switching to blue-light...people there are a little more respectful.

 

Yeah, blue-light is very respectful and informative. But they use "SWIM" too much.. SWIM this... SWIM that.. I honestly don't think it protects any individual or the site from whatever prosecution they are in fear of.

You would need a sheet or more a week to take as much L as you claim, OH yea I forgot you got awsome heady k-nex and you eat for free!
I really dont belive that somebody would just dish out $350 or over a week to supply your ass with dosess for absolutley no charge. You would have to no a chemist and trust me You most defintaly dont no were the fluff is coming from.

Be warned though some of the forums there are very cliquely and sometimes very elitist...Do your homework on erowid before posting (they get annoyed with the same questions being answered being asked a million times over by new people).

That said it's a BILLION times better than this forum. For a start there is not really any dick-sizing from 14 year old kids who like to "TrIp BaLLz 5 dayz a week y'all". The moderators and admin there really know there stuff, a lot of them are also members of erowid.

Yea, im with you on that. Too many people drop acid just to get fucked up. I usually trip by myself because of that; I tend to learn alot more and it's a much more meaningfull experience. Unfourtunately theres been little LSD around where I live lately so im hoping to stock up at Philly Folk Fest.

Anyway, heres my post with my latest trip (about 3 weeksago).
I ate 5 hits of acid in my backyard at about 6pm. I had a very similar experience to you in the sense that I lost all sense of who I was on the deeper/more spiritual leve. I laid down on the grass after 3 hours or so and I suddenly just shut my eyes and dissolved. I became one with all life around me and was no longer a human being; I was a mass of energy spreading throughout nature. I could sense (not necessarily feel since seperate senses didnt really exist) everything happening around me and was more blissfull than anytime I can ever remember being. I also could relate to Alduous Huxley when he wrote about "Understanding without knowledge" in the sense that I felt as though I understood everything; what it's all about. I woke up the next morning and felt wonderful, I really can't explain it. Although I was a little depressed about how awful many parts of our society are. I tried writing about it but I usually have to write a little something while tripping to be able to expand on my ideas, but I don't believe I would ever be able to decently explain what I was experiencing. I don't really like writing because I also have that point of view that language is nothing buy symbols that represent the real thing, but then again it's good to go back to later.

I HOPE ACID COMES AROUND SOON! I MISS IT!
If Im lucky I can pick up a vial for 600 but idk if my friend will want to get it for me. wish me luck

I go to Maine for awhile every summer and have never found any acid. Then again, I guess I dont really know anyone there, I just ask around.

you dont get it dude....if the FEDS monitar this forum like you say im not going to come out and say how i eat for free....i work for what i eat...atHINK ABOUT IT MORON...i could care less what you think man. I went on a stretch where i ate acid 3 times a week, and no it doesnt fuck you up that bad, side effects wise. I live in a dorm, i failed some classes because of it, other then that no it doesnt make it so you "cant talk" i dont know where you got that notion. If you really dont beleive the things i say then just dont say anything. And yes i go on forums and opost my experiences because none of my friends dose anywhere near as much as i do...and they dont know they drug like i do. So to have intelligent conversations with people about the drug i go online. I klnow many people who dose like this...i have a freind who used to swig of a vail his tolerance was so high.. seriously why do you feel the need to blast me...the people who i think are cool on the forum have dose 1500+ hits...you dont know me, so dont fucking judge me.

tbh though I wasn't at all impressed by your attack on him earlier in this thread (and I doubt I'm alone in that feeling). Just drop it. No sensible poster pays any attention to the sort of posts eman makes, which is why nobody's really even commented so far.

At the end of the day, what you do with your life, and what you say in your posts, has absolutely no affect on the lives of anyone here. I can't see any reason why you'd lie about taking acid on an Internet forum, and even if you did, it wouldn't mean anything. Nothing to get upset about.

also- come on now people the feds do not monitor this forum, They have better things to do with there time ! If someone was moving tons of shit like ounces of coke a brick of Herion or a few books of acid then yes, They are not going to waste there time on a few hits of LSD a 8ball of coke or a bundle of dope. The feds care about the people who make it and care about dealers who are moving big time weight. Not a 5 strip of hits or a 1/2 ounce of weed or a gram of coke.
