"To achieve world government, it is necessary to remove from the minds of men their individualism, loyalty to family traditions, national patriotism, and religious dogmas." - Brock Adams, Director UN Health Organization
To respond to your poll question in words: 1 & 2, of course, which, not surprisingly, are their biggest targets. Destroying national sovereignty and the family unit is their specialty. It's all about getting the children indoctrinated by the state at an early enough age so they won't have any individuality or ability to think critically once they become adults. Seems like their plan is working.
You know, people have been ranting and raving about world government for decades, and how the UN is gonna take over everything. If anything, the UN is at a low point of its effectiveness, and since the breakup of the Soviet Union and its satellites, nationalism has definitely been on the rise, with more countries forming and then countries breaking off from them. So, if you just look at the standard definition of what 'world government' is about, I'd have to say we're moving away from it, if anything. However, the end of the Cold War allowed the US to ascend as basically the world's single superpower, and extend its hegemony around the world in a way that it wasn't able to do when it had the USSR to go toe-to-toe with. I would say that if we're getting closer to having 'world government', it certainly doesn't have anything to do with the UN-it would have to do with the fact that the US and its allies such as Britain are extending their economic reign more and more around the world, even invading other countires to achieve this end. This is something that was impossible for them to do when they had the USSR to counter them and keep them in check.
i voted "Communism" man, they have a bigtime operation going on and to think well get to be a part of it if we want the only hold up is bush i hope hilary wins the president race
Well, the reason many people think what you do about the UN and its assumed lack of effectiveness is because of the UN's perceived powerlessness in relation to the Iraq war, where America played the role of the evil aggressors, while the UN played the role of the good cop, looking for peaceful, diplomatic solutions. It was all set up this way, and most of it is nothing more than a psychological game. At the highest levels the UN and the US are controlled by the same Elite with the same agenda. It all leads to the central bankers and their elite minions in the CFR and RIIA. If you really want to look to the power the UN has, look at their splinter organizations like the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), which controls our public schools' curriculum and our national parks. Just look at the people behind the creation of the UN (ie: Alger Hiss, Cordell Hull), and what their beliefs and agendas were. The UN was a product of the Council on Foreign Relations, whose members are the REAL policy makers of this country and are all devoted to the overthrow of American sovereignty in the name of a world government. Our "elected" officials are merely frontment for this elite group, which is the same group that today wants to merge the US with Mexico and Canada as part of a proposed North American Union. Of course the planning is all being done behind closed doors, without the greater public's knowledge. The UN was created to be the world government, as NATO will be the world police under the New World Order. It's not a matter of IF, but WHEN UN troops come busting down the doors of American citizens to "disarm" them of all their guns and ammunition.
i serious agree with these guys if you ever have to make a post that long you have serious problems man get over them
A world government has potential to be productive and promte development and human rights, or a negative shifty power grab. I don't see either happening within the next 50 years.
Maybe rat and I should express our political points of view with metaphors to smoking pot from now on.
