Naturally as a Brit I support 'England' but the safe money is on the host nation with the home crowd advantage: 'Germany'.[IMG]

Home crowd advantage or not, I don't see Germany doing so hot this time around.

I agree, I think Germany have the weakest squad they've ever had going into a World Cup.

Germany arent the team they were by any means...

England would've had an excellent chance if it wasn't for Svens choice of strikers and he's overal incompetence...He seems to like to use England as some sort of mad science experiment...Remember Heskey? And now he's selected 2 injured strikers, 1 without any premiership or international experience (Walcott) and Peter Crouch...You have to think what the hell is going through his head? We shouldve got rid of him a long time ago.

Still I think England will make it to the semis and get knocked out by Brazil...You never know Rooney could be back by then though which would graetly increase our chances.

Not sure if Brazil will go all the way though, theyve never won the world cup in Europe, history is against them.

Well to be honest, the World Cup hasn't been great this year, and aint expecting England to win it. I mean all the deluded England fans start getting carried away saying that they are going to win it, but i've heard it at almost every world cup that England play in!!!

I don't even know why they are even bothering with all these crap world cup chants, and bloody England flags everywhere - The competition itself will be over on 9th July 2006!!!

Englands' manager Sven Goran Eriksson is a Swedish tosser, and why he still picks over-the-hill David Beckham is beyond me!!!

He is a rubbish captain, and too many people wrap him up in cotton wool!!!
I think that John Terry or Steven Gerrard would make a better England captain than overrated Beckham!!!

England will probably get to the quarter finals - if that.

Either Brazil, Germany, Holland, Portugal, Argentina or France to win the World Cup.

There's some great goals going in today. Cahills and Aloisis goals were fantastic for Australia, and Arsenals new signing Tomas Rosicky just scored a belter for the Czech Republic against USA.

Andrea Pirlo scored a gooden for Italy tonight as well. It really is a good day for great goals.

Italy looked good today. The French players look tired. Beckham should stick to making adverts. I'll wait till England's next game before casting judgment, I wasn't impressed with their win against Paraguy. Brazil didn't look all that good either. Germany will probably be in the final.
